Re: Pre-Anniversary Trip April 17-22 (updated again 3/18) Christine, what a fabulous photo! And what a wonderful wedding trip you must have had! My daughter's dream is to someday get married at Disney World but she'll have to find herself a groom first and preferably one who is as crazy about WDW as she is. ![]() Joy

Re: Pre-Anniversary Trip Pre -Trip Report April 17-22 (updated 3/20)) Thank you all for the kind comments on my wedding. It was a pretty special day. It’s amazing it was almost 10 years ago and I still talk about it like it happened yesterday. I must say posting on these boards makes me that much more excited about my upcoming trip. I was so shy to start and now I can’t wait to add more to my pre-trip report. My basic plan for the entire trip is to go commando in the morning and take it easy at night. However, every trip I say the same thing and always wind up needing a vacation from my vacation. We never just relax and take in all the sights. I am going to try really hard to just relax this time. OK now for the details: First Day: I don’t know how up for things we will be. We are taking a red eye out of Vegas on Friday night. I cannot sleep on a plane (petrified of flying) and both of us have work on Friday so we will get to Disney with no sleep for almost 24 hours. I know once I get there I will be reenergized by I don’t know how long I could go for. We should get our car by 8am. I am planning on going straight to PCR to check in and get our UPH tickets. I am not counting on my room being ready because I have very specific room requests. I would like a non-smoking, king, on the 4th floor close to a parking lot! Does this type of room even exist? After check in we are going to MGM. I have an 11:45 PS of 50’s Prime Time Café (sorry I am still not that familiar with the abbreviations yet). I figure we will get to the park by 10:30. By that time I think the park should be pretty crowded. We really don’t like waiting on lines so we will be fast passing a lot. I will fast pass TOT and hopefully get to ride that before I eat. After lunch we will try to ride RNRC and maybe do some shopping. I am thinking by that time we will be just about dead tired. If our room is not ready we may take a ride to Publix to get some water and snacks. I am hoping to get into my room by 3:00pm and taking a long nap . That night we will take it easy. If we do get out of bed, I think we will just go over to the boardwalk and maybe eat at Spoodles. What time does everything on the Boardwalk close?OK, am I crazy? Am I the only one who plans like this? My husband insists that I am. Next Up: Day Two Details

Re: Pre-Anniversary Trip Pre -Trip Report April 17-22 (updated 3/20)) It's good to have a general itinerary, but just remember.....it's ok to be flexible with it! Take a deep breath and go with the flow! Enjoy!

Re: Pre-Anniversary Trip Pre -Trip Report April 17-22 (corrected 3/25) The rest of the details – Day Two -We have a PS at Kona Café because my husband loves Tonga Toast . Then we will go to the Animal Kingdom. I don’t know how much time this park will take us. The last time we went we were done with everything by noon. But again, I am going to try and take it easy. Hopefully we will be able to take an afternoon nap before our PS at Boma for 5. After dinner we may go to MK to watch Wishes. I have read that there is a little beach (walking distance from MK) that we could watch from. Does anyone know where this is? Day Three – We are going to IOA and lunch at Emeril’s. After Universal, I would like to go to DTD. I am waiting till Monday to go to DTD because I am hoping it will be less crowded. We will spend the rest of the night here. Day Four – I am finally going to Chef Mickey’s. I have wanted to go here forever. I am really excited about this. After breakfast we will spend the rest of the day in the MK. I am really really looking forward to Mickey's PhilharMagic. We also have a PS for LTT. We have never eaten here either so this will be a day of firsts for us. I also plan on seeing SpectroMagic.Day Five – Epcot. The only musts we have here are Mission Space and Test Track. I have a PS for Alfredo’s. It is a tradition for us to eat here; other then that we are just going to take our time and see everything. If we don’t make it to the boardwalk on Saturday we will go after illuminations. Day Six – Again, I am leaving this day up to your suggestions. Again, thank you all for reading. I am just so excited about my upcoming trip I couldn’t wait till I came back to start posting here. I am going to try and take really good notes so my trip reports are as good the ones here.

Re: Pre-Anniversary Trip Pre -Trip Report April 17-22 (updated 3/24) The only beach I know of within walking distance of the TTC is at the Poly. Maybe somebody else knows of another one? You are going to have an awesome time and I can't wait to read all about it when you get back!
