My first trip to WDW I would like to THANK my daughter Denise aka WDWlover for showing me a whole new world ! I enjoyed our first trip together to WDW, the memories will hold a special place in my heart. I encourage all moms and daughters to take a magical trip together. Our journey began early am on May 14th 2004. We stayed at AKL for the first 3 nights. I loved the African decor and watching the animals below our deck. I highly recommend eating at Boma's, breakfast was awesome. The rest of our stay was at CBR, I felt like we were in Aruba. I liked having our own pool area and parking close by. Denise showed me Epcot,MGM,MK,AK. I was in awe of the parks, as Denise said it best " I was like a 4 yr. old looking at everything for the first time ". I loved meeting Mickey Mouse, and seeing the rest of the gang. I wish to meet Tinkerbelle as she is my favorite. It was great to meet up with some of Denise's friends from Passporter, we took a Illuminations Cruise, and met for Ice cream and had lunch at Fultons. It was nice to meet all of you !! We enjoyed the Flower festival ( I love gardening and I have new ideas to add to my gardens) and the Star Wars weekend was awesome, I wish adults could learn to be Jedi's. We enjoyed our Tired leg massage at the Grand Floridian Spa. It was fun to go on the rides, I have a back fusion and I was able to ride more that I thought I would. Thunder Mountain and Primeval, Kali river rapids, Test Track, Splash Mountain was so much fun ! I enjoyed Buzz light year, Peter Pan, Spaceship Earth, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean. Mickey's Philarmagic was fantastic !! We had the Hollywood and Vine priority seating with the Fantasmic pkg. It is worth doing as we didn't need to rush to get a seat for the Fantasmic show. We missed seeing Wishes at MK, I have it on my list of things to do for next time ! I loved seeing the countries at Epcot, Denise and I got a Henna Tattoo from Morocco. We watched Illuminations for a second time in front of Germany. I came back with a renewed spirit from watching Illuminations. The restaurants we ate at were all wonderful, I loved the Sci-fi the best for it decor. The Garden Grill for the ice cream social with Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale. The Flame Tree barbecue's Hot Pork sandwich with the huge fruit plate. I wish we could have tried more of the restaurants, but there is always next time !! We will return to this magical place I have learned to love and enjoy !!!!

Re: My first trip to WDW Sal, it's wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your Disney trip with your daughter. I too took one with my adult daughter last year and it was one of the most delightful experiences of my life. I'm eagerly looking forward to hearing more about your adventures in Denise's trip report. Joy

Re: My first trip to WDW Hiya, sounds like you guys had a wonderful time. I can't wait to hear all about it. I have to wait til 2006 to get my mum to WDW with me but it'll be so worth it. Hubby and her partner love all the thrill rides, so I'll get to do a lot of cool stuff with my mum, like visit the spa. Can't wait to read your Trip Report. Annabel
