| Re: Okay, day 1 is up (THIS year\'s) Great start! (Loved the planning too!) [ QUOTE ] I was very upset, though I tried not to let it show; that camera is like an old war buddy to me, and any problems with it, beside being potentially costly to repair, are like seeing a good friend get hit by a bus. [/ QUOTE ] ![]() Love it! I feel that way about my sewing machines! Can't wait to read the rest... Eileen |

| Re: Okay, day 1 is up (THIS year\'s) Excellent start, Will! I nearly fell out of my chair when I read this in your TR: "After a bus ride back to Pop Century, I stumbled my way into my room, took a quick shower to rinse off the sweat, soaked my feet for a while, and lay down with the TV on to provide a bit of white noise. But I couldn't ignore it; an Appliance Direct infomercial came on, and I had to watch! I don't know what strange power the Appliance Direct guy has over me, but when his infomercial come on, I am compelled to watch." DH and I did the exact same thing a few weeks ago when we were there. We just couldn't turn the Appliances Direct "infomercial" off! I kept thinking it was going to end soon - how many more appliances could he actually have in that store - but it was never ending! So glad to hear that we aren't the only ones with Appliance Direct infomercial issues! |

DFi and I discovered this guy a few weeks ago too on the day we were stuck in the room due to me and the icky 24-hr stomach bug I contracted... we couldn't look away either! I LOVE appliances! |

| Re: Okay, day 1 is up (THIS year\'s) I'm sure glad I'm not the only one; it means I'm not crazy. Maybe Sam has some kind of subliminal message in those commercials... subsonic... video frame inserts... who knows. Clothes not getting clean? Maybe it's your washer. |
