| Re: LizardCop and Jan\'s Christmas at Disney Trip Bill, another great update! Too bad you didn't get a chance to see Annabel and Andy later in your trip. Love those stamps -- adding them to my list for my May trip. ![]() |

| Re: LizardCop and Jan\'s Christmas at Disney Trip Some more of day 2… After World of Disney, we headed over to the Pin Shoppe… We bought a few pins this trip, about a dozen I think. I’ll post all the pins we bought over the week later… After the pin Shoppe, we browsed through the Disney at Home Store, as well as the Christmas Shoppe, and Wonderful World of Memories. We spent a few more dollars and decided it was time to head back to Pop Century and download (both the camera and the shopping bags)… So we hopped a bus and headed back to the room. When we got there, Jan decided we needed to figure out what we were going to do for dinner. So, I asked her what he felt like eating and she decided she was “craving” steak… As I said earlier, we had 2 PS’s set before we got here, and tonight wasn’t one of them. But, there is Disney Dining and a phone call set up a PS for Concourse Steak House for 6:30 PM. With that set, we hopped a bus for MK and switched over to the monorail and went to the Contemporary for dinner. We hit a couple of stores while we waited, then went and checked in a few minutes early and were seated within 10 minutes… I had the Penne Pasta and chicken, Jan had the Prime Rib with Caesar Salad. It was good and we even remembered to save room for dessert… I had the Cheesecake and Jan had the Crème Brulee. The food was great!!! The servers were all in a weird mood, except for one who cut up with everyone, whether it was her table or not… But, it was a new restaurant for us and we’ll go back!!! Dinner, with dessert and tip came to $70.00.We did a little more shopping to walk off the food… Jan had bought an Eeyore Stocking earlier and said I had to fill it, so I started buying stuff for it. Of course, she was with me so she knew what I got, but it had to be put in the stocking and she couldn’t have it until we got home… BTW, in case I haven’t said this before, Jan is another donkey fan… Anyway, I got a small stuffed Eeyore and a magnetic measurement conversion magnet shaped like a measuring cup for the fridge, to go in her stocking. We decided since we were on monorail resort, we’d hop the monorail and tour the rest of them. But, before we leave, here’s a few photos of/from the Contemporary….. ![]() [b]The Lighting on the Levels Inside ![]() Across the 4th floor… ![]() Our Dinner Place… ![]() One of the many Christmas Trees up around the building… ![]() Chef Mickey’s from the monorail level… ![]() The tree in front of the Contemporary, though the front window at the monorail level… NEXT: The Polynesian, Grand Floridian, and the rest of our night….. |
