| Re: LizardCop and Jan\'s Christmas at Disney Trip Day 3 Sunday 12/19 As many of you remember, my plans for this trip were “rigidly flexible.” I really had no park planned for any particular day and there were few objectives on this expedition… I’m an early riser, by nature… I was up between 5:30 and 6:30 EST every morning. Remember that at home I’m on Central time so by “biological” clock is an hour behind Disney time… During this time I would fire up the laptop and log onto the board for a short time to see if there was anything for me. It also gave me time to upload any pictures I wanted to share while we were there. I was using a cell card in the laptop and connection speeds were a whopping 53.5k, so I got to nap occasionally while waiting for things to load, or shower, get coffee, or just about anything else I wanted to do… I would start waking Jan around 7’ish and let her get up at her own pace, she was starting to come down with something… We haven’t done the parks “commando” style for years, but ee do like to hit the parks at opening. That’s when the best opportunity for character meets are and you get the chance to hit whatever attraction you want with minimal waiting times… Well, we didn’t make a park opening all week, but we still had fun!!! After all, that’s what the trip is about. Well, Jan had as much fun as you could while not feeling well, but she said she still had fun… So, today I said, what park do you want to do? Loving EPCOT as much as I do, I really expected to hear that, especially since we don’t normally consider ourselves at WDW until we’ve had a churro from Mexico… Imagine my surprise when she said MK???? Okay, MK it was… We got there around 9:30’ish and in we went…We strolled, slowly, down Main Street after a few pictures… From upstairs at the Train Station ![]() From ground level ![]() ![]() Goofy has this little girls pigtails doing a “giddy up” for the picture… ![]() ![]() Stomachs were growling, and I don’t argue with that… A certain person, who will remain un-named (Thanks Un-named Tara) recommended the French toast at the Main Street Bakery… The line was long, but it was worth it. 2 French toasts, a hot chocolate, a hot tea, and a large bottle of water cost $14.10. We strolled down to the water area in front of the Plaza Restaurant and ate this wonderful breakfast while watching the ducks play in the water. [b]NEXT: Some Rides and More…. |
