| Re: LizardCop and Jan\'s Christmas at Disney Trip Some Rides and More…. I haven’t discussed the weather yet, and I probably should… So far, the weather had been pretty good, highs in the upper 60’s/low 70’s with light breezes… This morning we woke up to 48 with 15-20 MPH winds… It was supposed to go up into the mid 60’s, still not too bad… So, breakfast done and we headed off … First, the obligatory “Partners” photo… (I got lots more than this one, but I this statute)![]() And here’s one of the little Chip and Dale statute at the walkway eges… ![]() Then there’s the mandatory….. ![]() And the crowd looking back down Main Street from the castle… ![]() We walked through the castle and headed for Pooh’s ride, the wait was 40 minutes, so we skipped that one. There were similar waits for most of the rides in Fantasyland. So we did some shopping, browsing through Tink’s shop, Mickey’s shop and just aimlessly wandering around. A CM in Tink’s shop told Jan there was a hidden Mickey in one of the panels of tiles in the castle, so we went back there and looked for a while. We didn’t find it and Jan wanted to check out the one in Pinnochio’s Haus, so off we went. ![]() Then we headed for Liberty Square. We headed straight for HM, a favorite. The line wasn’t long at all, we almost didn’t stop prior to entering the front door… ![]() And on the way out, we saw the ring and looked at the pet cemetery… ![]() It’s amazing how many people came buy and commented that they didn’t know that pet cemetery was there….. Then it was lunch time… Of course, we were right at the Columbia Harbor House, so guess where we ate????? Yep, 2 Captain’s Specials and a small bottle of water came to $16.14. We found a quiet corner downstairs and ate… [b]NEXT: The Liberty Square Riverboat ride and more!!! |

| Re: LizardCop and Jan\'s Christmas at Disney Trip The Liberty Square Riverboat Ride After lunch, we decided to take the Liberty Square Riverboat for a ride… ![]() BTMRR from Liberty Square… ![]() Local bird sunning itself We boarded the Steamboat and went to the top deck… Here’s a few pictures from there before we got started….. ![]() Aunt Polly’s and couple lounging on the back porch… And then we were moving ![]() Haunted Mansion from the top deck, look at the line now!!! ![]() Harper’s Mill and The Raft Landing on Tom Sawyer’s Island… ![]() The raft landing, with a raft loaded waiting on us… ![]() Splash Mountain and BTMRR… ![]() The windmill on Tom’s Island and the deer in the woods.. ![]() A real Great White Heron at the waters edge and another on the dock… ![]() The Stockade at the Fort ![]() The Indian Village and Moose in the woods ![]() Wilson’s Cave and coming back to the docks. Once off the steamship, we wandered for a little bit and shopped some… We did get a Dole Whip, it was okay… I prefer the Mickey Bars, just my taste… Then, off to Tomorrowland. We grabbed a fastpass for Buzz and headed to COP. I COP… (remember, no pictures) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() [b]NEXT: More rides and the rest of the day!!! |
