Pictures to highlight our Anniversary Trip I just have not had the opportunity to post a regular trip report, but I thought you would enjoy hearing the highlights and seeing some pictures of our trip. Saturday, Dec. 4 -- We arrived in DTD and ate dinner at Fulton's Crab House. The meal was fabulous, but got off to a rocky start ( I will not elaborate on what happened). Because of this the manager offered us a 25% discount on our entire meal. After dinner we went to the 9:00 p.m. showing of Cirque du Soliel. This was the first time for my brother and his wife and they are still talking about how much they enjoyed the show. We spent the night at the Doubletree Club Hotel. It was nice and clean for $59. Sunday, Dec. 5-- We checked into the Boardwalk Inn and our rooms were not ready. Not a problem. We spent some time planning our day and introducing Dwayne and Celima to some of the concierge CM's. We spent the evening in the lounge playing games and eating chicken wings from the ESPN club. The guys enjoyed having beer from the lounge to go with theirs. Monday, Dec 6 -- The highlight of the day was the Illuminations cruise. The holiday ending to the show is fabulous. This was another event that my bro and sis-in-law continue to speak highly of. Tuesday, Dec 7-- We had no special plans for this day and spent time at Magic Kingdom. Sonny had to have a Mickey hair cut. Billie was the barber and she made it a very fun experience.

Re: Pictures to highlight our Anniversary Trip ...continued from previous post Wed, Dec 8 -- This was the day of Dwayne and Celima's 4th wedding anniversary. There were a lot of surprises planned for today. First, I had booked Victoria and Albert's for the four of us. I got an early morning phone call that the chef's table had become available and was asked if I would like to reserve it. Well Yes! ![]() Dinner with chef Scott was fabulous. We had our own little nook in the back of the kitchen and it felt very private and intimate. Here is a list of the courses we had: First: Amuse Bouche ~ Mushroom Ragout ~ Lobster Cappuccino ~ Nantucket scallops ~ Osetra Caviar (Our favorites were the Lobster and Scallops) Second: Jumbo Lump and Peekytoe Crab Timbale with Lavosh Crouton Third: Alaskan Sable Fish with Brentwood Corn Fourth: Roasted Duck with Candy-Stripe and Golden Beets with Pomegranate Vinaigrette. Also this dish had Foie Gras on a Apple Tartlett Fifth: Butternut Squash Bisque Sixth: Kurobuta Pork Tenderloin and Belly with Serrano Ham Seventh: Pineapple Passion Sorbet with Micro Mint Eighth: Australian "Kobe" Beef Tenderloin with Celery root Puree, Braised Short Ribs Ninth: Baked Seckle Pear with Gorgonzola Dolce Tenth: Miniature Chocolate Pyramid, Warm Almond Chocolate Timbale and Orange Chocolate Napoleon Eleventh: Mango Charlotte with Kiwi Mango Coulis Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee ![]() Grand Marnier Souffle Caramelized Banana Gateau We kept forgetting to take pictures of the dishes. Usually, we would remember after we had demolished the dish. I am sure that I am leaving some courses out. He brought over a taste of everything on the menu for the night. During the course of the night we exchanged gifts. My DH surprised me with a 2-carat tennis bracelet. It is beyond me how he managed to hide the wrapped boxed until dinner. I got him an engraved pocket watch. He cannot wear regular wrist watches so this seemed the perfect gift.

Re: Pictures to highlight our Anniversary Trip My husband had a few surprises of his own planned for after dinner. This is what I found in our room once we returned from dinner. And for anyone that was curious--that is sparkling grape juice in the wine bucket with chocolate dipped strawberries on the plate. I am sure that this is TMI, but I of course got sick after we were in the room for a little bit. I believe that it was too much for my pregnant stomach to take. The most amusing picture is the one I took of Dwayne and Celima's door the next morning.
