Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats....

I am just catching up with your report Terri. Sounds like you and Scott are having a great time. I'm really liking some of his comments. Sounds like there may be more "Terri and Scott Disney Trips" to come. The strawberries and champagne looked yummy too. I've always wondered what it was like to be a peeping tom!!! Hurry back with more!

I explained the whole “Dessert party/ Illuminations viewing” thing to him – his comment – “That would make a great thing to do instead of a rehearsal dinner – and you’d have the fireworks too”. OMG!!!!

[/ QUOTE ]

WOWSERS!!! Is he trying to tell yhou something or is he just thinking out loud!!!

[ QUOTE ]
We watched Illuminations from in front of Canada – across from the Off Kilter Stage. Scott held me again… and caught me singing along with the show. He said “You’ve seen this so much you know it by heart?” “No – I have the CD” “should have known”…’

[/ QUOTE ]

And since we keep talking about weddings and honeymoons and all of that stuff, at that point I would have mentioned your thoughts about "Promise"

Looking forward to the rest of thr trip . . . and even though it is coming to an end, I know it won't be long until we see the DISNEYLAND report!!!

I am not sure if he was just thinking outloud (just like the comment about honeymooning at GF, or getting married at WDW) or if he is trying to tell me something. He is pretty direct when he wants to be - so I am thinking he is thinking outloud.

I ALMOST told him that Promise will be my wedding song... but bit my tongue - for now.

Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats.... Day 2 - Pt 3 - 2/9

I love your trip report. I was looking forward to it and checked for it first thing Monday morning and check back for updates regularly. If you can't go to Disney right now you might as well read about someone else having fun there.

Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats....

GREAT installment! Where do I start...

I know that nativity set! DH's introduction to religion started with our wedding, and he gets a real kick out of the Baby Jesus. Both of us lit up at the Glas und Porzelan shop when we saw...The Baby Jesus! (Update: Oops, wait...maybe that was in Italy.)

Wally's US History glasses are sludge-colored at best, so we've never been able to see the American Adventure. . But we both Impressions de France! Bon choix!

Great photos!

PBR is still alive and very much kicking in Maine! Even post high school! (But I know what you mean...why is it that every male has some grand "drinking story." Or worse...20 of them! )

I have such a hard time holding onto my credit card at Art of Disney.

Many, many creds for Spaceship Earth!

Sounds like a wonderful day, so happy you shared it with us. Hope the kids weren't too bad!

We went to France to watch “Impressions de France”. Of all the movies at EPCOT – this is my favorite. I adore the music and the images. So well done – it seems timeless.

[/ QUOTE ]

I love it also! It puts you right in France. It always makes me want to buy a glass of wine when I leave.

[ QUOTE ]
We started with drinks. Ice Tea for me and a Pabst’s Blue Ribbon light for Scott. He got such a kick out of that – he hadn’t had that beer since high school (TMI dear..).

[/ QUOTE ]

My DH loves to order PBR out in public. He bartended in Wisconsin back in his younger days, so I think it brings him right back home.

[ QUOTE ]
We saw a convention or tour group being led by a CM and Scott asked where they were going. I explained the whole “Dessert party/ Illuminations viewing” thing to him – his comment – “That would make a great thing to do instead of a rehearsal dinner – and you’d have the fireworks too”. OMG!!!!

[/ QUOTE ]

Um . . . Terri . . . I hate to break this to you, but this guy has some serious intentions.

What a wonderfully romantic day!!!

We checked in and in less than 10 minutes were taken back and seated at a table across from the doors to the restrooms

[/ QUOTE ]

That's exactly where we sat in September! I believe it's the Saskatchewan room (where DFIL is from). DH was reading the LeCellier review over my shoulder and was drooling over the surf and turf!
