Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats.... Terri just getting caught up with your fantastic TR; thanks so much for sharing your weekend with us! Sounds like Scott has potential to be a Disney convert. My Dad isn't much on the MK, either, but there are a few things he likes, like the Hall of Presidents. He's more of an Epcot/AK kind of guy. I think it's the school teacher in him. The hidden Mickey on your tush was too funny! And yes, I went back to look again! ![]() When I was at MK in November riding the TTA with Tara, we saw Space Mt. with all the lights on, too. Doesn't it look like just another auditorium? Weird. Thanks again for taking us along on your trip! Looking forward to the DL TR; hope you find your sweatshirt there!

Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats.... First off, wonderful report and photos, as usual. Secondly, how far of a ride is it from your house to WDW? I am seethingly jealous of the fact that you can hop in the car and go. Thirdly, my mind is racing with Passporter Ideas of say, the bridal shower which would start with the Girls Only on Buzz Lightyear and the photo op of All Girls on Splash Mountain with our hands in the air. All this Passporter Love is making me Verklempt! Tissue please. ![]()

Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats.... You guys are TOO funny with all this wedding talk. I don't see it happening anytime in the near future - however, you all seem to know better... I leave it in my Passporter Fairy Godmothers (since I have more than one) hands.... Joan - I live 2 hours and 30 minutes (door to gate) from MK if I take Hwy 417 - it can be around 2 hours 15 minutes if I take I-4 and there is nothing to slow traffic.

Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats.... Complete!! - 2/11 Glad to hear you had such a nice time. Love the pictures of you and Scott! You mentioned the music from American Adventure and France movie. I love both of them, too. They're both on my CD I bought last year and I listen to it ALL the time! Paula ![]()

Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats.... Complete!! - 2/11 OK … I’ve FINALLY gotten myself caught up on this trip report (although I cheated and spoke to Terri a couple times via cell phone). The first call I received was Sat morning of the trip and it scared the bee-gees out of me b/c I thought something was wrong. Why else would I be getting a call during the “Romantic Disney Weekend”?! I was ready to buy a plane ticket to Orlando when Terri told me that they were having a great time and had found my shirts at the Villains store at MGM – the same shirts I had dragged Terri around looking for on our last trip! Yeah for me! … I received the second call Sat afternoon while Terri and Scott were in France (apparently, France isn’t “bad luck” anymore – enough time had passed since an ex-bf broke up with me there). The third call I received was Sun morning from the Cona Kafe and I was shocked that no one ordered Konga Toast! Although Scott did offer to mail me a piece – not sure that would have worked out to well! ... As for the trip itself, I just have a couple of additional comments: 1)I TOTALLY agree about Mission Space! I can do about one “launch” a trip on an empty stomach b/c I know how much Terri enjoys it. Scott might just be one of those people. 2)You know, hitting all the park bathrooms with me has been good training for you with Scott. I was doing you a favor! 3)No WWTBAM!? How are we ever going to win the cruise if you don’t practice? 4)Finally, I’m glad you took him to Beaches N’ Cream for the best burgers ever! Were the burgers just as good or were our taste buds off from completing the ˝ marathon? Overall, I’m glad you had a great time! I look forward to reading many more “Romantic Disney Weekend” trip reports in the future!

Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats.... Complete!! - 2/11 Great report! I wouldn't worry about him not loving MK. It's actually my least favorite park also. There's plenty of other stuff to do! Thanks for taking the time to share your adventure with us, it was great. And that fruit! Yummy!

Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats.... Complete!! - 2/11 I finally finished reading the whole thing and Scott is forgiven for not being packed. He sounds awesome, except for that whole not likeing MK thing! Maybe if you go back when things are running and its not crowded.... Oooh, and good luck on converting that "thinking out loud" stuff to reality ![]()
