Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats....

Less than 2 days to go....

I talked to Scott today - he said he actually slept through the night - a first all week. So that is good news. Day 2 of not seeing him - and I will admit (although not to him) that I miss him terribly...

My suitcase is packed - I will add the 2 pairs of jeans to it tomorrow - and if I didn't have a meeting tomorrow morning - I would SO play hookie (of course, a responsible grown up would not do that).

I went to the library and picked up some books on tape and CD - not sure what we will listen to on the way to WDW - Scott is in charge of music.... this could prove interesting. Default - Disney!!! I have LOTS of Disney CDs in the car....

I am getting very excited about the trip - but really trying to keep things under wraps for the next oh... I think we are at 45 hours now....

Re: Escaping the Eagles and the Pats....

22 hours to go... eek!! The suitcase is packed, I am home from work - now all I have to do is clean this place from top to bottom, sleep (right), workout, home to shower and dress, run a couple of little errands and leave at 1145am to be at Scott's house at noon.

I found out today that the coffee at WL is French roast -- so I am packing Scott's folgers that he keeps here... he will have to tough it out without his Blue Mountain... plus I am planning to get him a resort mug.

I need to make sure the cats have a clean box and lots of food. I have 3 sets of batteries for the camera (one set per day)... tigger ears are packed...confirmation has arrived...all my disney stuff is in the backpack...

I just need to pack an overnight bag for when we get home on Sunday night - since we will stop here, dump the suitcase and head straight to Scott's house.

Can anyone think of something I am forgetting?? I am completely stimied on that one. I think I have it all - even the swimsuit I often forget when I travel. I am debating on which jacket to take - but am thinking the green pull over fleece will be most comfy...

22 hours and counting... I would say I will sleep through 8 of them - but I know better. I hardly sleep at all the night before a WDW trip. I wish we were leaving first thing in the morning - no joy on that one - someone wants to work 4 or 5 hours first....

I guess this concludes the "pre-trip report". When I get home on Sunday - I will take the laptop with me to Scott's (I will place it in the travel bag tomorrow am) so that I can start with the actual trip report as well as converting and uploading photos....
