[ QUOTE ] We hopped right on the monorail and I remember commenting to DH we'd have to learn the Spanish part "Por favor....etc" If I could spell it I would type it . And thus the monorail obsession began.

You mean . . . "Por favor mantenganse alejado de las puertas." (Which actually translates to "Please they are maintained far away of the doors." in english!!! )

I have the actual saying as a wav. file on my computer. Sometimes I just get the urge to play it for everyone!
Great trip report. When reading about the paper flower, from Mexico, I was reminded about my own honeymoon at WDW. My DH did the samething, he also got one for me on our second trip (after our 5th anniv). I can only imagine what he will do during our 10th anniv trip in Dec.
I am enjoying this very romantic TR. Isn't that bottle of Champagne wonderful?!
I have to laugh. The picture of you with Prince Charming - you're all snuggled up to him (man, is he handsome or what!!! what a tall drink of water ), and then there is your husband, nervous, and obviously on his best behavior with Cinderella! Too cute!
What a great tri report! We've all heard so much about your honeymoon that I'm glad we now get to really read all about it and see the pictures, it looks like you guys had an amazing time! The view from your room sounds amazing!!!
I'm really enjoying your TR, Melissa! I, too, have to giggle at your pictures for a different reason. There are so many wonderful shots of you and your hubby -- an obvious sign it's your honeymoon. DH and I have been married for almost 14 years now, and I think there may be one of about 250 pictures from our last WDW trip that actually has the two of us in it! All of them are of the kids, or me and the kids, or him and the kids... but I don't think there is a single picture of just the two of us!

Me too . . . me too . . .
But do you get the crazy looks like I do? ("WHY does she keep playing that?! WHAT is so funny about that!!!")
Emilie likes to add "Gracias!" to the end of that EVERY time!!! That's what's so funny!!!

Everytime we get on a bus I say it and we both giggle about it. We did it over and over on the shuttle from the parking lot to the race track when we went to Bristol. I'm sure those folks thought we were crazy!
Our third day was jam packed full of plans. First we had a PS at Ohana for breakfast, then it was off to MGM, a PS for lunch at the Hollywood Brown Derby, then back to the GF for dinner at Narcoosee's, and then finally finishing the night at Downtown Disney to see Cirque.
We got up nice and early and rode the monorail over to the Polynesian. We had an 8:30 PS for Ohana. I was very excited about trying a character breakfast. Plus it had the Hawaii theme that runs all through Lilo & Stitch. We were greeted by our cousins and then taken to our seat. I had my first taste of the pineapple bread.. YUMMY!! While we enjoyed our family style breakfast the characters made their way around. The food was delicious and the characters were a lot of fun. Mickey came around and I had my picture with him. Then I asked if our waitress could take one of me, DH, and Mickey. She sweetly obliged and we moved over to make room for Andy. Well somehow I think accidentally pushed Mickey and I joked about it. Mickey turned around and gave me the no no gesture. I quickly apologized and felt bad but Mickey patted my hand as if to say it was okay. After finishing breakfast we headed out to catch the bus to MGM.
We arrived at MGM and caught a character performance at the Sorceror's hat. We decided we would head over and see the Animation Studios (I was very excited to see this since Stitch had been animated there). We were also able to meet up with my buddy in the greeting area in the Animation Studios. I've shared this moment before and it still makes me laugh. I made DH video tape while taking pictures Lilo noticed our picture we purchased at Ohana and gave me a big thumbs up Then Stitch noticed my "Viva Walt Disney World" shirt that had him dressed as Elvis on it. He clapped really big and patted me on the back. So DH took a couple of great shots and then walked up to shake Stitch's hand. When he did he forgot to turn the camera off so you get a nice shot of Stitch's eyeball. It's like he's watching the camera come at him.
After that exciting moment we toured the Animation Studios (which really changed last year, not for the good I must say). I really enjoyed seeing all the artwork and my favorite part was doing the drawing myself at the end. (DH framed my Mickey for Christmas that year). After trying our hand at animation we headed out to try our hand Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? I only missed a couple of questions. I thought that was okay.
Our PS for The Hollywood Brown Derby was cut into because of WWTBAM. We were a few minutes late and DH was flipping out b/c he was afraid we wouldn't get a table But we did, we were seated almost immediately. Lunch there was delicious and romantic. The atmosphere in there was beautiful! I enjoyed a specialty drink and the cobb salad (I can't remember my appetizer). DH had some seafood pasta, he can't remember anymore, just that it was dang good! DH mentioned it was our honeymoon while I was away from the table and we were treated with champagne and strawberries (people like to get you toasty when you're celebrating )
So after getting a little lit, what better fun than to go and ride the bumpy Star Tours DH was excited about this ride as he is a big star wars fan. I really enjoyed this one. The trench scene! How cool is that??
After Star Tours our FP time for RnRC was getting close. We started making our way back over there. We came across Donald so I hopped over to get a picture. We still had to wait in a little bit of a line at RnRC but it was worth it! What a ride! DH also video taped here and he turned the camera on my face right before you get shot out of there. It's like one second I thought we were going, then we didn't, so I get this really concerned look on my face, and then BANG we were off!
After all this fun we had to head back to the GF to rest up and get ready for dinner and La Nouba. We were pooped!
This one ranks as a fav photo!
Andy's wearing the hat!
And my other favorite!
Playing the game!
Inside the Brown Derby
waiting in line for star tours
Waiting in line and tired!
And finally pooped out!
Coming up... I need shoes! And a bathing suit!! And how much would that have been?
Can't wait to hear about your dinner at Narcoossee's and LaNouba. Way back in '94 Narcoossee's used to be open for lunch, and my DH and I had our very first meal as newlyweds there. It was late in the afternoon and very quiet. The food and service were excellent. Your report is bringing back a ton of memories!! Keep it coming!!
