| Re: TroianRae\'s crazy adventures in the World PreTrip Report right back at ya, Jana!I'm enjoying the reading. Looks like our theme park touring might overlap a little - I'll bring my Passporter to our meet and see how our schedules compare. We'll be at Fantasmic the night of the 6th also, but we're going to the 9:00 show so Joshua can go get in the bed! You mentioned changing your schedule a little because of EMH - have they changed anything recently? We're trying to avoid EMH parks since we're not taking advantage of that on this trip. Joshua was doing pretty good (for a 3-year-old) with his Disney countdown. Although today I had to start teaching him to say "weeks" instead of "months". So he is going the opposite direction of Benji - instead of just 3 days like Benji, Joshua is saying 4 months left instead of 4 weeks! We don't want to go backwards! |

[/ QUOTE ] I put down the 10:30 Fantasmic because everyone always says the first showing is the busiest, but the 9 pm is definitely a possibility. It all depends on the kids, but my kids are night owls so I think they'll be better at night than in the morning. I mentioned EMH's changing because they switched around the MK EMH mornings and evenings. Fridays are now the evenings and Wednesdays are now mornings. (That's different from what I first had down.) I'm going to try the EMH mornings and then leave before they get too busy; the EMH evenings should be a lot of fun (I actually enjoyed the E-Ride Night at MK last year; I remember having fun, even though I was heavily medicated because of my teeth.) |

I want to enjoy every possible second. You never know we might just be tripping all over each other, if our schedules are that similar. ![]() |

| Re: TroianRae\'s Crazy Adventures in the World PreTrip - UPDATED 6.3 PART 2 <font color="blue"> We're getting closer, but still not close enough. Benji tells everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, that we're staying at Pop Century. Of course, they have NO idea what he's talking about. These kids are getting more Disney crazy than I am!! Benji is constantly on the computer looking at the Disneyworld or Passporter websites. He's decided that he's going to ride BTMRR and Test Track; we'll see. Troian just squeals in delight every time she sees a character. Of course, it would help if she would stop calling Mickey "Pooh". I just know that she's going to do it and I'm going to be standing there . I've been adding more stuff to the suitcases; we're even working out a "battle plan" for packing up the van. We made a special trip to the Disney Store in Omaha on Saturday just get a few more "must-have's"!! Benji had been promised a Dash (Incredibles) swimsuit; I got lucky and they actually had his size (disneydirect.com has been out for weeks). He also added a pair of Dash pajama's to the ever-growing pile; Troian added a Nemo hat, a cutie's keychain, and a Princess pair of pajama's. Troian and I got those Minnie American t-shirts, while Nathan and Benji got the Mickey American t-shirts. I also added an Incredibles t-shirt for Nathan to the pile. Then I added some more Disney $$. Gotta have those Disney dollars!!! I got lucky though; Nathan left with the kids before I paid for it all, so he doesn't know how much I spent! I starting packing all that into the suitcases Sunday afternoon; boy are they bulging!! I'm determined to have enough stuff for the 17 days we'll be gone; I don't know how I'm supposed to have the time or the desire to do laundry at Disney (so I'm packing accordingly). ![]() I've still got to go look at the changes in EMH rides; I printed them out last night, but haven't changed anything on my passpockets. I should go do that; I'll add more later! </font> |

| Re: TroianRae\'s Crazy Adventures in the World PreTrip - UPDATED 6.3 PART 2 [b] <font color="blue"> Only 17 days until we leave!!! ![]() I am getting so excited that I can't even at night. We spent the weekend doing laundry so that I could add more stuff to the suitcases; I ending up doing a lot of repacking (which I always do). I'm so weird; I like to pack as much Disney stuff as possible. I have a major problem with any of us wearing anything except for Disney-oriented clothing. I just can't deal with wearing other characters while at WDW; I mean how do you go to WDW and then wear an Elmo shirt?? (BTW, I Elmo, but I won't wear him at WDW.) So the suitcases are repacked so that it's Disney themed; I even found several more tshirts for Nathan (one Goofy, and two Tigger). We need to be appropriately dressed for our character !! All the suitcases have some sort of Disney-themed luggage tag with our info, just in case (of what, I don't know, but just in case). I'm still locating all the little odds and ends that I've been putting together as little surprises for the kids. I bought up all the Princess tins that were clearanced after Valentine's Day but I'm only bringing 2 with to use for Troian's little surprises. I've got Pez in the Incredibles, the Fab Four, and Donald and Daisy. I've also got some Incredibles treat bags that I'll use for Benji. Plus I've got mini Disney sticker books with stickers. I've got quite the stockpile of little surprises for Benji and Troian. ![]() Plus I've been getting some cases of water and pop for our trip; we'll keep some of it in our refrig/cooler. We bought one of those electric coolers that can be plugged into your vehicle as well as into a regular plug-in( for the resort). We only paid $70 for it; we figured that was a smarter investment than paying $10 a day to rent a refrigerator from the resort. ![]() I'm still checking my lists to make sure that I have everything ready. My mom is going to look after the house and the cat for us, plus pick up our mail; so that's all taken care of. I'm working on the 3 Sunday's worth of bulletins that we won't be here for, plus I've got to get the church's July calendar all done. I've still got to remember to prep 3 weeks of news releases for the newspaper. (In case, that didn't give it all away - you could kinda say that I do a lot of stuff for our church - I do any sort of print work (bulletins, church directory, monthly church calendar, etc.) or dealing with the paper.) Anyway, I've still got a few more things to do before we leave........... in 17 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() |

| Re: TroianRae\'s Crazy Adventures in the World PreTrip - UPDATED 6.3 PART 2 Remember how, after we had gotten to know each other a little bit through our PM's, that you wrote one day and told me that maybe we were separated at birth? ![]() This whole last entry of yours (except for having the suitcase packed and the church work) could have been written by me! I too try to take only Disney clothing. It just seems more appropriate! ![]() And I have a whole separate backpack of stuff for the roadtrip that Joshua has not seen yet - gotta have lots of surprises to keep him busy and happy so there's no meltdowns. Oh, I don't have Disney luggage tags for the suitcases, but instead I hooked them onto my backpack; that way they're with me in the parks every day. This works out well, since I did leave my backpack at Sci-Fi one day and was able to get it back quickly. We also have a plug-in cooler. We bought it a few years ago and now don't go anywhere without it. Like you said it keeps from having to pay Disney for a refrigerator. Maybe one of these days the free ref's will make it down the chain to the value resorts. |

| Re: TroianRae\'s Crazy Adventures in the World PreTrip - UPDATED 6.3 PART 2 How exciting for you. Can't wait to be in your shoes. I keep buying things here and there that we need. I just bought 3 luggage straps from the Disney Online store. They were on clearance. I also bought the coolest duffle bag that has a hidden handle and hidden wheels on one side. It's the one we're going to stuff in our suitcase so we have EXTRA room to bring souvenirs back. My husband got worried when I told him about that. He said "How much are we spending again". LOL I HATE it when he asks. I just keep saying "We're paying cash, don't worry". |
