My first trip report Day 1 of 7( Sorry, this will be long + rambling) About This Page:

Sunday 8/28 - 4:00 am - Everyone(Me-Heather,Boyfriend-Chris,DD-Bailey,DS-Zach,DD-Tanner) gets up exhausted after a long day of football from 12pm till 7pm. We actually leave as scheduled at 5:15am. Arrive at my mother's house to pick up my 21yr old DSis Liz, who is crying afraid to fly. Ok suck it up we need to go. Arrive at Buffalo Airport 6:00am on time again. Off to a good start. Well, at the airport my Dsis informs me she didn't sleep at all an dis a mess. Flight leaves on time and we arrive in Chicago a few minutes early. Good thing because the travel agent said the gates would be close not to worry. She was wrong. So anyhow we arrive MCO a little before 1pm. I have never been there before so I had no idea where to go, but i figured it out and got in the magical express line. We waited for about 20 minutes before we got on our bus. It felt like 20 hours with my crew. I'm not sure who was more impatient my kids or DSis. Now my times are probably not exact because after getting on the plane I realized not one of us brought a watch. All week "Excuse me, Do you know the time?". Next time I won't forget. So we arrive at Pop, check in, rooms were ready,(Yeah!)get settled in and the luggage was there within the hour.(another Yeah!) So now it's around 3:30 we decide to get going to MK because we have a 5:40 ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern. Before leaving I explained to my Dsis how the room keys/passes/dining works. Or so I thought. 2 of my children were listed in her room so at this point she has there cards. We wait about 10 minutes for the bus and head to MK. Just as we are pulling up to the bus stop I say "ok, Liz you have the cards right?". I'm sure you guess her answer. She only had hers and left the two kids cards on the table back in hotel room. Oops! Stay calm, it's Ok. Get off the bus walk around to the other, get back on the bus for Pop. Liz still on no sleep aside from maybe an hour on the plane looks like she will cry. Youngest child mocking older siblings who don't have there passes. One smacks the other, other starts to cry, and well I'm still staying calm. We get back to Pop, Liz and Zach go up to room , get cards, we'll stay here, maybe we can still make it to our ADR. Waiting, waiting, waiting where are they? Bailey , Tanner and myself were waiting on a bench. Chris had wandered into the gift shop to look around. We go in to find him and he's gone. Still waiting! After about 10 more minutes here they come. Liz went up stairs(4th floor 60's rm 4445) and then proceeded to lock herself out. Came back down got Chris and finally met back up with us , with the cards. Now we have missed our ADR and decide to go to MGM instead because they have pm EMH. Were starving, had'nt eaten since 6:30 am. Wander around a bit, Pizza Planet! That'll do. We ate it. Is all pizza in Florida this bad? Atleast we weren't hungry anymore. So DSis takes kids on TOT and Rockin Roller Coaster, while we relax on a bench. Walked around for a while and decided we were all exhausted. Went back to pop around 11:00? Everyone fell right to sleep. Except for me, too excited. Even after the day we had I was thrilled to be there, and it could only get better. I stood out on the balcony for quite a while enjoying the view and a much needed cigarette. Then off to bed. Have to be up bright and early for a 9:00am ADR at Boma. Will try to add more days soon.
