| Re: Hollie & Chris\' 1 Year Anniversary Trip - 16 more days - Background posted Background As you can tell by my signature picture (and my other trip report) Chris and I were engaged at Disney World on December 15, 2003 at the California Grill  It was the most romantic thing a guy has ever done for me. It was funny because he knew that he wanted to propose before he picked a place to do it. He then decided that Disney World would be the perfect place. So one afternoon in January 2003 we went to Pizza Hut for lunch and as we sat there eating lunch he asked me if I wanted to go to Disney World (what a place to ask me huh?  ) so ofcourse I said “yes” (he knew I wouldn’t say  because I Disney SO much). Starting around my birthday (March 22) I started going thru a “So when are you going to propose to me?” stage. Him knowing that is what the trip was really for kept telling me to stop asking or he would delay when he was going to ask me (he had a deadline We were going to originally going to get married April 23, 2005 (his grandfather’s birthday) but it feel doing the Greek Easter lent so we couldn’t do it during that time ). So December 15, 2003 we became engaged (if you want details of the engagement you are going to have to read my other trip report   ) Now fast forward a couple of months and it came time to start planning our honeymoon. I really wanted to go to Disney World but Chris convinced me that at Disney World we are always on the move and he wanted a more relaxing vacation since it was our honeymoon. So we decided on a Carnival Cruise (it was nice and relaxing but I missed Disney ) so I said “Fine since we are doing a cruise for our honeymoon we are going to Disney World for our anniversary” which I stuck to my words and that is where we are going That leads me to this trip report Coming up next – Pre-Trip Report |

We knew we wanted to go to Disney World (more like a demand from me  ). So one Sunday after Chris dropped me off at work (on Sundays he drops me off then uses the 4 hours I’m at work to see his family and run errands. He is a good hubby ) he headed to AAA to book our trip It was a nice surprise that when he came back he told me it was all booked I was VERY happy. After many times of changes dates we were finally booked and going The clock is ticking (if anyone watches the show 24 on Fox it sounds like that clock lol) and the time is coming near.
