Gee, is it that obvious?? He was funny and now tells me that I have spoiled him
Today we had an ADR at Cape May Café for breakfast – it was so nice to get up and just stroll to the restaurant. I have definitely been spoiled by Beach Club. This is the first trip DH and I did NOT rent a car and believe it or not, on more than one occasion he mentioned how convenient the buses and boats had been.
During breakfast at Cape May we had one of those Disney moments – see Sydney has decided that Chip & Dale are on the top of her list (of course, I am thinking this is great since they are so available and easy to see) anyway, Chip made his way over to our table and spent about 10 minutes coloring with Sydney!! This moment was just priceless to me! Sydney was on cloud 9 and still talks about it to me. We saved the paper from the table and have added it to her memory book.
After breakfast we hung around the resort a bit. We just walked around enjoying the gardens and pathways and all this resort has to offer. It was so beautiful out and the pathways thru the resort and Villas are just gorgeous! Around noon time we strolled over to the dock to catch the boat to the Studios. Sydney was looking forward to seeing JoJo and Goliath and was asking me about the Little Einsteins and if they were going to be there. I had to break it to her that the Einsteins are not there but I am sure they will be soon (maybe next time)! At least they had the sign up
She seemed okay with it especially since she knew she would be seeing JoJo and of course Buzz and the gang (she Toy Story)!
As many of you know, they play JoJo’s theme song while you are waiting for your meet & greet. Here is a picture of Sydney dancing to the music!
And it might have taken 4 days but Sydney has finally discovered Mickey Bars!!
After a late lunch at the Commissary we grabbed a bus to Downtown to do some shopping and enjoy the night a bit and Mommy could do some shopping Guess what Sydney had while we were there?? Yep, you guessed it…another Mickey Bar!!
And she still managed to go to sleep when we got back to the resort – go figure!
Great update. Cape May is one of our favorites for breakfast. They still seperating Chip and Dale to keep the mischief at a minimum?

it would seem that way -- we saw Dale first them Minnie, Goofy and Chip was last. Okay by me since Chip was the nicest to Sydney!

We hadn't been there in awhile so we went during our spring trip I think. In the past C & D were always together and up to some form of mischief like tying the CMs apron strings to the chair of the guest they were serving, tying 2 CMs apron strings together, stuff like that. They also were MIRACLE WORKERS as well dealing with unhappy small children. It was amazing to watch the effect they had. Evidently the pranks far outweighed the miracle work however to hear the CM tell it.
Sorry it took so long for me to get back to typing but things have been a little busy for me lately…..but let me continue.
Today we decided to make it a resort day and not do any parks. We took a nice leisurely walk over to the Dolphin and had breakfast at Fresh. This was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had – it was absolutely delicious. The food was your typical breakfast fare but the nice thing is that you go up to the counter and tell them what you want and it is made fresh right in front of you (hence the name ) – not just omelettes either, they make pancakes, all sorts of eggs, etc. They also have a station with bacon, sausage, cereals, etc. It really was a nice breakfast and much cheaper than most of the buffets elsewhere. We then headed back to the Beach Club but not without stopping for a few photos of our little princess!
We went to our room and rested for an hour or so and then off to the pool we went. We definitely took advantage of the nice weather by hitting the pool each day.
Once we were able wrangle Sydney out of the water, we took the boat over to the Boardwalk and DH and Sydney had a mickey bar while I perused the shops. We headed back over to the BC and did some more swimming and then got ready for dinner. We ate dinner at the Cape May Café – DH was anticipating this night all week long….he the Cape May Café’s dinner. I am pretty sure he eats his weight in mussels and clams. Once we packed ourselves like little piggies (it was delicious as usual) we decided a walk would do us all some good. We walked around the lake and over to the Boardwalk to take in the nightly activities. It was such a beautiful night and the Boardwalk was all a buzz. We stopped and watched the magic show – Sydney enjoyed this! We then stopped so the little one could get her hair braided….keep in mind she did not nap today so I was a little unsure that she could sit still for a stranger to braid her hair especially since it was now 8pm. Well she insisted and I was amazed at how she sat there like a statue – she truly enjoyed having this done. Well worth the money – she was so proud of it that she showed everyone.
We then headed back around the lake and stopped in the concierge lounge for a quick drink and some cookies for Sydney. Off to our room for some nightly cartoons and then the next stop was dreamland!! Tomorrow is our last full day in the park. Stay tuned!
