5 days to go
Unfortunately, I didn't do ANYTHING to get ready for this trip yesterday
We wanted to spend a quiet day at home. It was bitterly cold out ( in the teens) & snowy & blustery ( who else thinks of Pooh when they hear the word "blustery"??.. show of hands!!) we didn't even go to my brothers for dessert..

Then we had the cops at the neighbors fiasco ( see my post in the Sunroom)

Thursday is also "Ebay day" in my house.. the day where I pack up & box all of the items I sold, weigh them, & affix postage ( love stamps.com) . That takes a good part of the evening even with Jim & the kids helping.

I have to go this weekend to buy some last minute items for our trip ( razor,tylenol etc) but everything else is pretty much set.. Need to remember to get a stop mail card at the post office today.

Weatherchannel.com only gives a 10 day so that's all I got

Jim just called me from work a few minutes ago &amp; seems his knee is acting up again... remember I told you all how he strained a nerve helping me with Ebay.. well last night as he helped he was sitting on the floor again &amp; I guess his legs were under him.. He asked me to pull out his brace AARGH!!!! something else to worry about 5 days before our trip!! I missed yesterdays update as it was CRAAAZY here in the Smith house..

Jamie had basketball practice &amp; when I asked him in the morning what time it was scheduled he told me 10am.. I was confused as when he came home from school on wednesday I could have swore he said 1pm.. of course, Mom's know nothing &amp; are stupid (especially to a teenager) so I took him to practice which was at the high school on the other side of the city... I decided to hang over that area &amp; hit some thrift stores..

I told him to go into the gym &amp; make sure his practice was at 10am.. he did &amp; came out waving me to go on, practice was as scheduled.

I just started to browse when Jim's cell phone rang.."Yep,you guessed it, no practice" Jamie kept insisting it was 10 or "hmmm, maybe it was 10:30?" we sat there for a few minutes until a teammates mom drove up.. I went to ask her &amp; she told me she was there to pick up her older son &amp; practice for Jamie was at 1pm.. AARGH.. Brendan had made plans to meet some friends at the mall &amp; Jim needed to sleep so we were in a quandry.. Jamie's teammates mom offered to pick Jamie up &amp; take him to practice &amp; I agreed &amp; told her I would bring the boys home as I was going to be in the vicinity later in the day.

We spent the rest of the afternoon walking the mall &amp; keeping an eye on Brendan with his friends ( only saw them twice, I was NOT spying or following) Bought Jamie "Kingdom Keepers" to read on the plane.. it looks pretty interesting &amp; he should have a blast seeing the same places where the book takes place ( He loves supernatural &amp; mystery so i'm hoping this book is a little of that)

I have been so lack in Ebay this past week &amp; was starting to feel guilty about it so I decided to at least take a ton of pictures of the items I have for sale.. did that &amp; am now listing with a start date of Tuesday night..

I also (finally) received my confirmation e-mail about the parade.. we are in session 2.. now to only worry that I get my voucher ( can you see a pattern here i'm a compulsive worrier)


Jim's knee is doing much better so I think he'll be fine for WDW..

I can't believe in less than 15 hours I will be touching down at MCO... Usually I am a bundle of nerves before a trip &amp; threaten to cancel the trip at least 4-5 times by now but this trip I am surprisingly calm..

Jim's Aunt is going to come over &amp; feed all of the animals &amp; this evening she left a message on our machine to assure us she'd be here &amp; to have a great trip!! it's little things like this that make me calm...

I do have a feeling i'm forgetting 'something' but I just don't know what!!

Jamie's basketball team has a game this afternoon.. they received their first loss.. [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] Jamie got to play a good portion of the game &amp; did really well rebounding &amp; blocking he was super pumped.. even tho they lost he knew he played well &amp; his coach complimented him that he played awesome..

One thing I am worried about is I STILL haven't received my voucher for the parade.. I sent them an E-mail this morning &amp; they assured me it was being sent today.. AARGH!!! it is starting to anger me that they are not following through as promised...

Haven't had time to check the weather yet as boys have CCD &amp; Brendan has basketball practice tonight so I'll probably check tomorrow AM before we leave for the airport...
