We ususally book our trip ourselves but used a company called Magical Journeys, that was our first and biggest nmistake on our trip from he double hockey sticks. We spent the 3rd to the 13th of december at the wilderness lodge. The crowds were horrible and that included the parks. Epcot was the least busy of all. We had rain most days. I think the sun came out only one or two of the 10 days. We made the best of our trip but it wasnt anywhere near our 1995 honeymoon when we spent three weeks at the lodge. We would most likely stay off property if we were to go back and we have gone many times. 2 times last year about 15 to 20 times all together.
Curious because we were down at the beach Club 3-10 December and we had a blast. It was cool and it rained a but but we still enjoyed ourselves greatly
We were there the Nov. 30 through Dec. 5 and we had great weather. It was a little chilly the first couple of nights, but Sunday (4th) and Monday (5th) were fabulous!! Sorry you had a bad time.
Sorry you didn't have a good time Can you be more specific as to what went wrong? I know the crowds and weather were bad, but that's not something anyone can control.
I'm sorry you didn't have a good time. Could you elaborate on what was so terrible other than the weather and crowds which no one can control. If you have a problem with Magical Journeys I think you need to bring it up to their management rather than trashing them on message boards with no explanation. They are a very reputable company and would want to know if something wasn't up to par with a client's experience.
I just wanted to add that I used Your Magical Journeys in November and have nothing but good things to say about them and the travel agent who worked with me to make my most recent trip the most magical yet. I am sorry that you didn't have a good time but I am a little confused because most of the other people here who were there at the same time didn't complain of large crowds I really wish you would come back and be more specific!
Sorry you had a bad time, but like everyone else has said, YMJ (or WDW for that matter) doesn't control the weather or the amount of people at WDW. (If they do, then I would sure like to learn how to do that for myself. )
We were there from November 29 until December 6th . . . we had LITTLE TO NO rain the entire time (in fact, the sun was out most days ALL day) and had heavier than normal crowds for just a small part of the day at Magic Kingdom on Dec. 3rd, but it was VERY manageable . . . we didn't have one single problem with crowds aside from that. (BTW - Dec. 4-10 was the U.S. Pop Warner Football Super Bowl and cheerleading championships ---- which were posted on Disney's website under the "Wide World of Sports" . . . it was also all over most of the message boards as well.)
This isn't the correct forum to be bringing this up in on these boards anyways, but you do need to bring your concerns up with YMJ and refrain badmouthing them on message boards . . . I know lots and lots of folks here who have used YMJ in the past couple of years who've not had any problem whatsoever.
huh? It didn't rain that much, nor were crowds that bad (maybe at times, but not in general). The time period you were here was the least crowded time of year!! I don't get it.
I'm not 100% sure where you went on your vacation, but if it was from December 3rd to the 13th it wasn't Walt Disney World.
I was down that exact same time frame and the weather was fine. We had rain one day (the 8th) and other than that it was nice.
As far as the crowds go, the weekends were busy (as they always are during Christmas season) but during the week the parks were dead and lines were short.
And when it comes to Magical Journeys, I can't say for certain, but I'm pretty sure all they do is book your room and stuff. I don't think they can control the weather or the crowds.
I've used them to book my last 10+ trips to Walt Disney World and have been THRILLED every time. You should stop bad mouthing them on discussion forums (this one and others), because your bad trip sounds like it had a lot more to do with your lousy attitude than it did anyone at Magical Journeys.
