A more detailed trip report....Updated to Day 7.... Finally after being home a week and a half, I have the time to sit and write a nice detailed trip report!!! i kept a trip journal for dd and also to have stuff for scrapbook journaling. Day 1: The morning went very smooth. We were up on time and left the house on time- or as close to on time as my husband can get- 10 minutes later than I had wanted to leave. DD was doing really well- she seemed really excited. We checked in at the airport, got breakfast and headed to security, where I learned I was an idiot and only had half of the boarding passes that i printed online. I thought my printer had printed two copies for each person, but in all reality it was boarding passes for both flights. Why didn't I read them when they printed??? Who knows?? We went back to the desk and they prinyed us all new boarding passes. Our flight left 30 minutes late- they had to de-ice the wings. I was really worried since we only had a 45 minute layover in Charlotte to begin with, but now we would be getting there 30 minutes late!!! Turns out our connecting flight was late too, so it all was okay. We got to MCO 40 minutes later than we would have originally, no big deal! DME was good- I really have no complaints. We got to AllSatr Movies at 2:45 OR so. It worked out good- we could check in and go right to our rooms. Rooms were ok- small but good enough. My only regret was having DME take our luggage. I wish I would ahve had our suitcases. I didn't even have a brush or deoderant with me. (We had so much food and baby stuff to bring ont he plane, we had to limit the other stuff we brought)They were there when we came back that night- but we were so tired we just went to bed. We never had time to unpack. I hated living out of a suitcase for a week. Back to Day 1- we had an early dinner at the food court. It was good. We were on the Dining plan, so with it being our first dining plan purchase, we were a little confused and had tons fo questions. The food was good. I had stuffed shells with salad and garlic bread, chocolate cake and a bottled juice. Next we headed to Downtown Disney. It was great- just as I remembered, but very cold!!!! I was sad we didn't get any pictures at the Lego store. i love all those cool statues!!!! It was just too cold to be outside for long periods, plus there were tons of people. Next we headed to Disney Quest. It was cool! Not excatly my cup of tea, but it was not very crowded so it was enjoyable to just stand and watch the rest play games and stuff. Dh and nephew really enjoyed it. There wasn't a ton for DD to do- they had a few things for toddlers though. She sat in the raft when DH and nephew did the river raft virtual reality thing. Waiting for a bus back to the resort form DTD was awful!!! They had no line, so people were just standing everywhere. We couldn't get on the first bus. Long day finally ended around 11:30. I needed tons of sleep to be ready for our first full day at MK!!!! Day 2- Magic Kingdom!!!!!! We all slept great!!!! The alarm was set for 6:30. I hoped to leave the room by 7:45 to catch the first bus to MK. At 7:15 ish there is a knock at our ajoining room door- MIL, SIL and nephew had just woken up. Nephew was ready by the time we left so he came with us. MIL and SIL were not, so they caught a later bus. (We did catch that first bus too!!) By 10:20 we had done a ton of stuff!!! I had no clue how the lines would be- especially MK on a saturday, but it was really good. Getting in the park right as it opened helped alot. By 10:20 we were in line to meet Ariel and we had already rode the teacups, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White's Scary Adventure, It's a Small World and Cinderella's Carousel. We had Fastpasses for Peter Pan's flight starting at 11:00. It rained that day- enough to be annoying- especially to me with wearing glasses. We put a poncho over the stroller to keep it dry and we were fine without wearing them. We saw Mickey's Philharmagic show- BEST SHOW in Disney!!! Jaden just loved it- she tried to grab everything I didn't know if she'd keep the glasses on, but she did and loved it!! We ate lunch at Pincchio's Village haus. I had a great panini- turkey and bacon. It stopped raining and got a little warm. Even mid day at MK on a saturday we had wait times of no longer than 20 minutes. I was impressed!!!! DD fell asleep and took a wonderful nap- we browsed shops on Main Street while the Share a Dream Come True parade was going on. We had dinner at the Crystal Palace. We loved it!!!!!! There were some reviews on this board where people really did not like the food and were disappointed with the character interactions. I thought the food was great- a wonderful selection of meats and sides plus tons of desserts- and the character meetings was just enough. Any more would have been too much. DD got to meet Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger, take a picture and give them a hug. After dinner we rode Pirates of the Caribbean, climbed the Swiss Family Treehouse, watched the Tiki Birds show (my MIL's fav), rode Aladdin's carpet ride, and rode Jungle Cruise. We started looking for a Spectromagic Parade spot at 8:30 and we were too late to get anything decent. We originally planned to see the 11 o'clock parade, but we had finished everything I had planned for the day. We found a spot in Liberty Square near the Hall of Presidents. We didn't get to sit right in the front and dd had to be on DH's shoulders to see, but it was decent. Afterwards we found a ncie spot in the hub to watch fireworks, but it was so foggy that we could barely see the fireworks that were behind the castle. We got a good view of Tinkerbell though! We ended up leaving during the fireworks- there was no point sicne we could hardly see anything- plus we could get to the bus stop early!! Day 3- MGM!!!!!! Coming soon!!!!

Re: A more detailed trip report.... Days 1 through 3 Day 3- MGM Everyone was ready on time that day!! We headed straight to Tower of Terror! Me, Dh and SIl got in line, while MIL got Fastpasses for us for Rock N Roller Coaster. It was out of order, but they were hoping it would up and running soon. TOT was Amazing as usual!!!!!!!! We caught the first Beauty and the Beast show at 10. DD seemed to really like it and looked very sad when the Beast was attacked. Seeing it live is a little more upsetting than watching a cartoon! After the show we headed back to Rock N Roller Coaster- awesome! After that we headed to the Great Movie ride and then lunch at Rosie's All American Cafe. Not bad- I had a double cheeseburger with the apple pie for dessert. MM MM! After lunch we played Who Wants to be a Millionaire- DD was sleeping. It was really cool. After that, we did the Behind the Scenes of Narnia and then we watched Playhouse Disney Live. She absolutely LOVED it!!!! Dinner was at Sci Fi. I just love it there!!! The atmosphere is so fun!!!!!!! I had the parmesan spinach dip- OMG!!!! and steak, chocolate tart for dessert!!! After dinner we headed to the Osbourne Light Spectacular. OMG!!!! I was just amazed. They had the snow falling over the Streets of America and the Christmas songs playing. It was so awesome- one of my favorite moments of the whole trip!!!!! We watched Muppet Vision 3d and then DH, DD, MIL and nephew decided to go back to the hotel. SIL and I really wanted to ride TOT again. We got fastpasses, but then waited in the standby line. We got to sit in the front seat- that was a first for me- even better!!!!!!!We had time to spare before our fastpass, so we checked out some shops. I came across the coolest thing- Mr Potato Head parts!!!!!!! All you could fit int he box for $18!! DD loves her potato heads and the Disney parts were so cool!!!!!!!!! Day 4- Epcot We took advantage of the extra Magic hour, but there wasn't a ton to do. We headed straight for the Land pavilion and got a fast pass for Soarin. In the meantime, we rode Living with the Land. I was so impressed!!!!!! Being an agriculture student in high school and college, I was just amazed at the new techniques Disney is implementing for growing food!!! After that, we rode Soarin'. It was cool, but not as cool as everyone made it out to be. We checked out the Living Seas Pavilion. I hear it is not completely finished yet. It was neat- Jaden liked alot of it. We didn't do Turtle talk, the line was crazy long!!!! We checked out Journey into Imagination with Figment and then watched Honey I Shrunk the Audience. We got a fast pass for Test Track- but had a few hours before we could come back!!! We ate lunch at the Electric Umbrella- MMMMM! I had a turkey wrap!! For dessert I had Strawberry cheescake- ooooohhhhhhh it was good!!!! After we ate, we walked the World Showcase. I could not believe how packed it was!!!!!!! We barely walked into any of the pavilions- there were just too many people and trying to manuever the stroller through was just not worth it. Plus, we really didn't have a ton of time. We rode Test Track and then headed to the buses to catch oe to Port Orleans Riverside to eat dinner at Boatwrights. The food there is wonderful!!!!! I had a great jambalaya!!! It was huge!!! After dinner, we went back tot he hotel. DH and nephew wanted to swim and SIL and I wanted to head to Pleasure Island. We got to pleasure island about 10 ish. It was pretty dead. It didn't really start hopping until 11-11:30. We wanted to leave by 12. We left at 12;30. It was alot of fun- 8-trax was the best- loved all the great 80's songs- plus showing the videos on the big screen was really cool!! We checked out Motion, it was cool too- hip hop and dance r&b, then we went into Mannequins, not really our scene- but the rotating dance floor is awesome. We aren't into techno, so we just danced a little and left. Beach Club had a band- mostly rock music- not a dancing kind of vibe! Next up- Day 5 Animal Kingdom!!

Re: A more detailed trip report.... Days 1 through 3 Seems not too many people are interested in reading this, but I guess I'll finish it anyway!! I'll make it quick! Day 5- Animal Kingdom Nephew had been waiting all week to go to AK. He said it was his favorite park! The morning went well- but crowded already!!!!! We headed straight for Kilamanjaro Safaris and got a Fast pass. In the meantime, we explored Pangani Eploration Trail. I hadn't planned on doing this, since we were only spending half a day at AK, but we had the time, so what the heck?? It was pretty cool. DD liked seeing all the animals! MIL and DD got pooped on in the bird aviary! I had to laugh at MIl!!! Kilamanfaro safaris was much better than the last time we rode it- which was the blistering heat of June. The animals seemed very awake and active!! Next was It's a Bug's Life show. I love walking around the Tree of Life. It is so neat!!! We just missed the show and had to wait for the next, which meant we got in the theater first and had to move all the way to the end- which meant really awful seats. I hoped it wouldn't be too bad, but the 3D effect just wasn't right from where we were sitting. DD seemed to still enjoy it! We hit Flame Tree BBQ after that- very good! I had a pulled pork sandwich- very good- which came with some BBQ baked beans and corn on the cob. Beans were great and I usually don't eat beans! Corn was a little too mushy for my taste! We walked toward the back and found a really ncie and quiet spot to eat- a nice oasis from the crowded areas!! After lunch was Dinoland- I was not impressed at all. We got Fastpasses for Primeval Whirl and just walked a bit. We checked out Expedition Everest- now that looks AWESOME!!!!! Don't know when I;ll make it back to WDW, but that will definately be tops on my list!!!!! DD was asleep, so everyone else went and rode Dinosaur while I waited. I neede a break from MIL, so the 1/2 hour rest was nice!! I planned on writing out some postcards, but of course, i did not have a pen!! We rode Primeval Whirl- neat coaster, but the spinning part wasn't too great for me!! Next we were off to Festival of the Lion King- I did not want to miss this!! DD was awake by now, so she really enjoyed it. SIL and MIL did too- they had never seen it before. We had to catch the bus to the Polynesian Resort because we had reservatiosn for O'Hana!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All i can say is OMG!!!! The best meal we ate in Disney- if not anywhere!! All the food was wonderful!!!! DD got to hula dance- she was so cute!!! After dinner we caught the monrail to MK for MVMCP! We got to Mk around 7:15 and people were already lined up for the 8:15 parade. I hadn't planned on seeing that parade, but waiting until later- but I was already getting tired. We decided to get a spot right away. We didn't even try to get one on main street- it was already crazy. We walked down near Hall of Presidents- the same spot we watched the parade the other night. We got a great spot- and we got to sit right at the rope!! While we waited, DH stayed at the spot and SIL and I went to get coca and cookies. The Parade was nice. Afterwards we walked to Fantasyland and watched the fireworks. That is really the best spot!!!!!! They are all around you!!!! It was really neat!!! Probably the neatest fireworks experience I;ve ever had!! We didn't know what else to do and the crowds were just awful. We ended the night with Mickey's Twas the Night before Christmas Show. It was a cute show. We headed back to the resort and called it a night!! Day 6- Magic Kingdom!!! We started the day in Tomrrowland. MIL and Nephew decided to sleep in, so we left early and they met up with us later. We immediately got a fast pass for Buzz Lightyear. In the meantime, me, DH, DD, and SIL rode Indy Speedway, Astro Orbiter and Tomorrowland transit Authority. DD seemed to like Buzz Lightyear. I tried to show her how to shoot, but I don't know if she was really doing it! Once MIL and nephew got there, they rode a couple things and then we rode Carousel of Progress while we waited for our fast pass for Space Mountain. COP was neat- I never rode that before! After Space Mountain, DH and nephew rode Stich's Great Escape. i thought DD would be able to go on it, but she couldn't- too short!! We checked out Mickey's toontown Fair. It was very crowded there!!! We visited Minnie and Mickey's houses and rode the Branstormer. DD just made the height requirement!!! Her first roller coaster!!!! We had soem time to spare before CRT so we played in Pooh's thoughtful Spot. It was pretty cute in there. CRT was ncie, but i was disappointed. I thought Cinderella would be visiting us at our table, but we met her in the lobby and had pictures taken and then were seated for lunch. Lunch was okay- our server was not very outgoing and the food was just okay. Dessert was FABULOUS!!! Probably my fav dessert of the trip!! The princesses were very nice though. They all came by and we took pictures of them with Jaden. Even Mary Poppins was there. After lunch, we decided to re-ride some of our favs- The Haunted mansion and Mickey's Philharmagic show. We rode the Train back to Main street- dd was asleep by this time. We decided to go back to the resort and were there by 7ish- our earliest night of the trip. i was pretty tired and the crowds were getting to me. (Not to mention my MIL!!!) Dh and nephew went to Disney Quest- the really liked it there the first night and did not get to spend as much time as they would have liked. We hung out in the room- Jaden colored and i veged on the bed watching Wheel of fourtune and then A Very Brady Christmas. I went to dinner with MIL and SIl around 8:30- just to the food court. I had a taco salad. Day 7- Last day- MGM We had only half a day, so we spent it at MGM. We went straight to Backlot Tour, but it was not opening until 9:30. Lights Motors Action was not letting people in yet for the 10:20 show. Even Honey i shrunk the Kids playset was not open until 9:30!! When it did open, we played there for a little while and then got in line for LMA stunt show. After the show we went ont he backlot tour- it seemed shorter than I remeber???? After that, we wanted to see Indiana Jones, but the had already stopped letting people in for the first show at 11:30- I think it was 11:15. The next show was during our lunch reservation and then we had to leave shortly after that. I was disappointed that we could not see it. Lunch was Fabulous- my second favorite meal of the week- pot roast at 50's Primetime. That place is soooooooo cool!!!! I love the decor!!! After lunch we headed to TOT for one last ride!!!! That was our last ride of the trip!! We asked to sit in the front and they let us!!! We left MGM to go back to the resort to catch our bus to MCO. And that's the end!!!!

Re: A more detailed trip report.... Days 1 through 3 Glad you enjoyed it!!! Overall, it was a very nice trip. I will NEVER take a vacation with my MIL again!!! Toward the end of the trip, it was like I was looking forward to the end and going home because I was sick of being with MIL, SIL and nephew. That makes me mad- that the end of my trip was spent being aggravated with them. Maybe it was partly my fault- I didn't want to split up- there's nothing I hate more than trying to find people and wasting time doing so.
