| The Bunnies go to see the Mouse Pre-trip report-Updated 1 day 15 hours to go Please forgive me for all grammatical spelling and punctuation mistakes. I am using Dragon NaturallySpeaking, as I have a hard time with typing and writing. I'm also very sorry if this isn't as interesting as some other trip reports. I'm not very good at composing my writing. My mom and I are both bunnies, I am Liz Bunny and she is Pat the bunny also known as pattycakes or Pat Ruggles we always have been and always will be bunnies as will every Ruggles child forevermore that's just the way things are! okay so the saga begins in the middle of my senior year of high school my parents asked me what I might want for a graduation present and so I thought about it I don't drive so I didn't want a car I thought about doing a trip to somewhere but where that's the question I've been to Europe so I didn't really want to go there and then I saw an ad for Nickelodeon kids suites on TV, and thought it might be fun to go to the Universal Studios or Disney World now to decide. Well, I talked with my mom and I told her they had been to Disney World once before for my dad. I can hardly remember it because it was pretty miserable time. But I want to give Disney World another try, and we've been to Disney land three or four times, because my aunt Jo lives out in California we would go and visit her there. So my mom and I tried for May 2005, but my school would not give permission for me to ditch a week understandable since I had an average of one absence a week. But hey, we can still hope right. So then we rescheduled for October 2005. But no, that didn't work out either. My ancient history class was going over the rise of Hellenistic Greece that week. Too important for me to miss, or so my mom decided why does she have to be so moralistic. So we reschedule again for the last possible week in January, as in the day after we get back I go to class. OK, on the third try we get a travel agent because it is getting too much for me. We got one of the best travel agents in the world. We lucked out. She's put up with so many changes in rearranges she's just so amazing. I know she'll have made the day. Okay now for the changes and resorts. First we went with boardwalk; because that's the one I liked best. And then on our second try, who went for Beach club concierge, one-bedroom suite. In now on our third and probably our best try since this one seems be likely to succeed. We went for two bedrooms at the Polynesian, no, not a two-bedroom suite, two bedrooms. We need two separate rooms because we both need time to ourselves. Otherwise, this won't be a fun trip were both very, not people oriented, and we need our downtime that and I like to watch TV and mom doesn't mom set a budget of $5,000 for rooms, seven nights with two rooms with just fits in that with our AAA discount. But I wanted one more night. So we ended up doing five nights at the Polynesian and three nights at Port Orleans Riverside. So I fit within mom's budget and added an extra day great for me and mom didn't seem to mind either now for the really fun part, planning meals. I changed the ADRs once, from Naorcoossee's to California Grill because I decided mom would like that better. We also got tickets to Cirque du Soleil. It looks fun and interesting. I picked quite a few of the character meals for us. Mainly because I feel like I wanna experience it all Sorry this is so long, but I told you it was a saga in the beginning. Now in only nine days and 4 1/2 hours. I'll be at MCO checking in to DME on my way to Walt Disney World. This has evolved from a simple graduation gift into a graduation, 18th, and 19th birthday gifts. Thank you for listening to me and wish me good luck than the screws up this time This is also my first trip report ever so please forgive any ignorance on the way things should be |
