THREAD 3 Day 6, 12/1/2005 Updated 1/8/06 [b] Day 7, 12/2/2005… Well, today started as did all the others… We didn’t get out of the room until around 10:30’ish [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/rofl2.gif[/img] We were headed for MGM. As we got to the buses, the queue for MGM was quite full and a bus had just left (the bus driver only filled it up just over half full)… So we got in line for an EPCOT bus [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif[/img] In a short time, we were on the bus and headed that way. The “modified” game plan was to stroll through EPCOT and take the boat to MGM [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/082502yes_prv.gif[/img] We cleared the bag check with no problems [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif[/img] Some Future World Pics…            The Canadian Storyteller…  And we headed towards the International Gateway to catch the boat!!! As we were walking towards the boat ramp, Jan commented that the person up in front of us looked like Sheila (wheatenwalker), and it was [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/woot.gif[/img] We hopped on the boat and sat in the back, chatting and having a good time. It’s always fun to see Sheila!!!! Some pics from the ride…           Once we got to MGM, we said goodbye to Sheila and, after clearing the bag check again with no difficulties, wandered over towards Sci-Fi because Jan was hungry. We figured we’d try a walk-up and see what happened. No Problem!!! We hitchhiked in the back of a car with a family from New Jersey. Our server started commenting on the driver being from NJ and how bad they drove up there. I commented that she must not be familiar with the area up there, the folks from New York City were much, much worse [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif[/img] Our first family left and guess what??? The next family was also from New Jersey!!! Our server let them know that we liked Jersey drivers, much better than New Yorkers [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/rofl2.gif[/img] Lunch was great!!! We had the Artichoke dip and chips. I had a BBQ Chicken Sandwich and Jan had a Burger, with 2 Vanilla Shakes!!! The total was $41.06 and the final was $32.85 with the DDE discount [img]/ubb/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] After that great lunch, we wandered… NEXT: More MGM!!! |
