Re: Tea, Mouse and House - THREAD 4 - UPDATED 1/20 - HOLIDAY WISHES!
Thursday 1 December – part eleven: – this is a new type of Wishes and breaking things in the Emporium!
Before we knew it, it was time for Wishes to start. All I knew was that it was a special holiday edition, but having seen it a couple of times before at this time of year, I assumed that it would be the same as previous years. I had heard people say that it was different, but I thought that they meant compared to the normal version. Well it was a completely new version that neither of us had seen before and it was excellent. It was worth the price of admission that night on its own and for our money, far better than the normal version of Wishes, but then again we aren’t fans of that.
After that was over, we were faced with an hour and a half’s wait before the second parade of the night, a change from years gone by, when it was an hour’s wait. We decided on our spot and staked it out early. Once everyone knew where we would be, they went off to play while a few of us held one to our spots. At first, it was just three or four of us, but once a few more came back, Terri and I went off to have a look at the Emporium for the Party merchandise.
We found some and I decided to get the Christmas tree decoration, but I couldn’t even get it to the cashier in one piece. I dropped it before I got there. I couldn’t believe that I had managed to do that – how embarrassing! Finally the second choice did make it in one piece and I was ready to go, except that Terri kept trying to persuade me that I should get the rather cute Eeyore plash. I told her that we wouldn’t have room for him in our cases, but she even told me that she’d post him to me. Stop tempting me woman!
We went back to spot keeping duty and the time just flew by, as we were all chatting away to each other. I noticed that there were some people now behind us, so I thought it only fair to warn them that our group was going to get a lot bigger before the parade began. I totted it up and worked out that there would be at least another 15 people and announced that in a loud voice so that they could hear. I could see out of the corner of my eye that they looked sceptical. I kept saying it over the next few minutes, so that they would get the idea that I wasn’t joking. They didn’t and I think they were shocked when the 15 or 20 people came to sit down, or in some cases, stand behind us before the parade started. Well, I did try and warn them!
I did notice that even as we were all showing up and sitting down, the people around us were looking over at us all with odd looks on their faces . . . I guess they must not have believed we were all actually coming back to sit!
More please!

I can't believe how beautiful the castle looks in your Wishes pictures Cheryl! I'm inspired to run home right now and look at my video of it just to relive it. Can't wait for the parade pics!

I fell so far behind, but I'm all caught up now. Your pictures are AMAZING! I especially love the Wishes pictures, and your pictures of the animals at night at the AKL Breakfast at CP sounds like it was absolutely crazy, you guys are all way too much fun.
