| Sailing,Swaying,Shandies and Scot(t)s!! **Updated 5/28 Nassau** I have been delegated to trip report duty. The only thing I’ll state for the record is that it will be COMPLETE by August' 07, before I head back to WDW. Other than that, anything goes! DESTINATION: Disney Cruise and WDW DATES: March 21st arrival. March 22-25th cruise. WDW March 25-26th. ADVENTURERS: Lynn (OffKilter_Disneymom), Maureen (Statelady01) and Moi Angie (Poohsgirl). Special appearance by Brandi and Tom; Maureen’s friends! And mine! RESORT/HOTEL: March 21st. Hyatt Regency at Orlando International Airport, Disney Wonder March 22-25 a Cat. 6 stateroom with Veranda! March 25-26 Pop Century. CELEBRATION: We deserve it! Little did we know we’d also be celebrating someone’s big move! Pre-Trip First off, this is Maureen’s and my first cruise ever! Lynn has been on a few already. This trip was a long time coming but a short time in the actual making! Back in May ’05 during our Girls’ + Bagman Trip , it was touched upon doing an all girls Disney cruise. Life in the meantime had to stick its ugly hand in thingsImagine my surprise when I get a call from Lynn at the beginning of February 2007, during my week long stay in the hospital, asking if I’d be interested in joining Maureen and her on one, if travel agent rates opened up. I was reluctant to jump on board because I knew I’d be facing moving into mom’s house for a few months for economic reasons. How would I even broach the subject of taking a cruise! Low and behold the very next evening, as I’m sipping my bland broth and looking forward to eating my jello (you know it’s bad when you are looking forward to jello! ), I get another from Lynn. Rates are available and to top it off it would cost the same for a 2 person stateroom as it would for a 3 person veranda room! How could I pass this up, all I needed to come up with right now was my airfare! I needed to book immediately though as we’d be cruising 6 weeks from this day. When I got home from the hospital, with Lynn’s help, I booked my flight down to MCO. It was a given that we’d all fly in the day before the cruise to avoid any mishaps. For the next few days I searched for a cheap flight returning on Sunday March 25 but was getting prices for a one-way fare that I usually pay for a round trip ticket! A room at the Hyatt Regency was booked for our arrival night; man it’s good to have friends that are TAs! The girls also took care of booking Quicksilver for our trip to and from Port Canaveral. It ended up costing about the same as the Disney transfers and we set up our own pick up times. As far as requesting things for the cruise ie: seating times, Palo ressie, Maureen and I pretty much left everything up to Lynn our resident cruise expert and Castaway Club member! chickie, you did an awesome job! We requested and expected the late dinner seating, being 3 adults. Lynn booked us for Palo on Saturday night, our last night, at 7pm. She figured we’d get Parrot Cay as our last night according to previous cruises she’d been on and out of the three restaurants that one we wouldn’t mind missing. More to come on this topic during Day 1! Since it was a budget trip Maureen and I were okay with not booking any shore excursions. This suited Lynn just fine as she wasn’t too keen on Nassau anyway and she was returning in May for her 20th anniversary cruise! So with passports ready, cruise documents in hand and plenty of seasick meds (thanks again Lynn!) we were set to embark on our adventure! P.S- WHEN DO YOU GET YOUR LAND LEGS BACK BECAUSE I’M STILL A-SWAYIN’! Up Next – Day 0: A happy surprise and boy this place is dead!

| I'm so glad you've started this report Angie, I'm really looking forward to it. It sounds like things really fell into place for this trip - I can't wait to read more... and preferably before August too!

| I figure Lynn and I would be throwing input in from here and there. Why wait- this trip was definitely shaping up to be my trip of a lifetime. I have wanted to do this for YEARS. I had hopes I would fall in love with it- I mean, not sure anything can top the World. The move definitely was added as a last minute celebration there- and of course, it was a great opportunity to see Brandi and her wacky husband- whom I affectionately call MyTom. (This isn't as original as it sounds- he calls me MyMo) When I got a JOB teaching at Brandi's school- then, I had to divert plans from playing in the parks on Sunday to checking out a few rental houses and a drive tour of the area which will soon be our new home! Northwest is not on my tops list at the moment. About a week out, they informed me they cancelled my regional jet flight and it would be turbo prop time- and a 6 hour earlier departure, with a 5 hour layover in Memphis. Uh, no. Luckily, one of our friends was driving to Memphis (where my connecting flight to Orlando originated) and offered me a ride to avoid the hideous little crop duster and the ridiculous layover. On Wednesday morning as I hitched my ride to Memphis, it was all I could do to contain myself. I haven't been this excited about any trip in a long, long time. My expectations were very high- and a part of me was a little worried, they might have been tooo high.....
