| Our 12/1/07 Cruise video This isn't exactly a cruise report, just a video montage I put together of our cruise. We've been home a week but watching the video makes me feel better. It's got music, so turn on your speakers. Our Disney Cruise

| Thanks Lorri What a great video! You put a lot of work into it and it showed with the music and all. We loved the Western crusie and thinking aobut doing it again. Where did you go in Cozumel? It looked like a resort?

We went with my 78 yo FIL who is in poor health and our 2 yo son, so we were really limited in what we could do as far as excursions go. I wasn't sure if going on the Disney Cozumel Beach Break would allow us to return to the ship at any time we wanted, so we booked on our own. It really worked out for us. Because of delays caused by my FIL, we got there later than we wanted (it would have caused a huge delay on the Disney excursion, too). Getting a taxi was super easy in both directions. The driver knew exactly where to go and it took about 15 minutes. There was some confusion when we got there at first. Their website says travelers checks only, but the confirmation email said credit cards were ok. We brought both, but they didn't want to take our US travelers checks. Oh well, credit card was fine. They have a good size regular pool and fun kid pool. They have floaties for the kids, which you can see in my pictures. The kids pool had a bar with seats right in the pool! Non-alcoholic mixed drinks were available for the kids. We don't drink either, so we were all happy. There's a picture in my video of my family sitting at/in the bar sipping strawberry dacquiris. My dc could have stayed in the pool forever! It was like 4 feet deep. I didn't see the Kids Club that they advertise - maybe it's a seasonal thing? The beach was beautiful and the food was decent. Nothing to write home about, but tasty and better than fast food. Nobody got sick later, even though we all had ice in our drinks. The service for the food was a bit slow, but they were apologetic about it. There were at least 2 restaurants to choose from. We liked it so much that we'd consider going there for a non-cruise vacation. There was lots in Cozumel we'd like to see, especially when our dc are older and this resort would be a nice "base camp."

I was referring to the Kids Club that the resort advertises. We never found it. Didn't really look too hard though, because we were enjoying the pool too much.
