| Chicken & Cruella's Eastern Cruise '08 4 Days to go Cast of Characters: Chicken (37) Mr Incredible (37) - Chicken's DH Dash - DS (9) Pooh - DS (7) Cruella (37) - Chicken's sister (no, we are not twins, but Cruella's birthday is today and mine is on the 31st) Milo Thatch (39) - Cruella's DH Kuzko - DS (12) **will turn 13 on Jan 13th, when we are on the Magic  Mulan - DD (11) Trying to resist starting a TR before we go, but can't help myself...just TOO excited. We have our custom made T-shirts ready to go (ordered from Customink, but I finished them with the Mickey Skull and crossbone as they could't)...the 3 ladies (Cruella, myself and Mulan got pedicures today (complete with Mickey's head on our big toes!)  and now we wait  .Thursday is our departure date for MCO. Flying from Buffalo (a 5-6 hour drive in nice weather). My parents will meet us at the Holiday Inn near Universal Studios on Thursday night. They are so excited as all 4 grandkids will be there. My mom bought a small Christmas tree and will have it and lights put up in our room and all the gifts she did not want to send in the mail. How great is that?  A second Christmas right before our cruise...couldn't be more wonderful.  The kids go back to school on Monday, for 3 days  but I know they are going to have as difficult time as I will going to work. Why oh why is Thursday so far away?? I have all of the packing to start/finish, so I should have lots to do between now and then.

| Day 1: Trying to Leave It is 5:30am and I am wide awake. We are to be on the road by 9am but a recent flooding of a major highway is forcing us to make a 1.5 hour detour to get out of Ontario so I am hoping my family will be up and ready soon so we can be on the road by 7:30. I just checked the road report and the highway is still closed (I was hoping it was going to reopen over night, but no such luck  ).No need to call Cruella - her whole family will be up and ready (about 4 hours ago!!!) All packed: got my passporter in hand and we will be off! TR to follow on my return.
