| Thanks for all the updates. I knew it would be HOT in August, but sounds like I'd better be ready for the extremes. Keep up the updates, I'm lovin' hearning what you are doing and your experiences.

| We had a wonderful day in Acapulco. Our walking/cultural/shopping tour didn't take us too far from the ship - but it was enjoyable. And it appears that I lost my mind while I was there. I bought a lovely pair of small silver earrings (which I thought would be the end of my shopping for the day) and then at our last stop of the day - well let's just say it is all Carol and Lesley's fault!!! That is SO not like me at all - but it is very beautiful (good thing I am not with them in PV or Cabo - they are a dangerous combination) - I will post a photo as soon as I get home!! After racing back to the ship at 545pm, we had a wonderful 2+ hour dinner at Palo - which required me to really slow down and enjoy the meal so that I didn't "run out of room". It was so wonderful to be in Palo as the sun went down and the city lights came on. Just beautiful. Today we are at sea steaming toward Puerto Vallarta. The skies are gray - I hope that burns off. We have been so absolutely blessed by the weather on this trip - just beautiful and flat seas for most of it. I have my last spa appointment of the trip at 2pm, and Lesley, Carol, Laurie and I are having brunch at Palo at 1030. I had said I was going to the gym this morning - not sure if that is going to happen. I am half inclined to sit on the veranda and watch the sea go by. Tomorrow in PV I am horseback riding (for the first time in more than a decade) which I have heard includes a 20 minute hike to a waterfall in the middle of a tropical rainforest. Sounds intriguing. I plan to wear my swimsuit under my jeans and shirt so that I can go for a dip in the waterfall when we arrive. Well - I need to decide to either move to the veranda or get up and get moving.
