| Canal day was amazing. My photos are up at lauriep.smugmug.com, but Terri will probably have better shots later, as she was up front. The view no matter where you were was awesome, though. I went up on decks 9 and 10 a couple of times, but spent most of the day on the veranda or "secret" deck 7 aft. I took a shot of the deck barbecue lunch menu. At dinner, which was "East meets West", we were all given lithographs by Ducky Williams and souvenir Canal Day menus. It was a wonderful, but hot and exhausting day, and it's lovely to be at sea relaxing today!

| Yesterday the sea was so calm you could hardly tell where the sky began. Late morning we were joined by dolphins and at least one sea turtle. Stormy petrels (Terri told me what kind of bird they were!) came along on our draft as well. Absolutley magical. Wonderful tea at Palo with Lesley and Terri.

| Yet another relaxing sea day. The seas are more choppy today and it's a bit rocky on board. I took a bonine just to be safe, but haven't had any problems. The dolphins escorted us for a while again today. I had no luck getting a photo, though. This afternoon I'm going to draw Mickey with Ducky Williams, whose talk the other day I very much enjoyed, then to the DVC cocktail party. Tomorrow we'll be in Acapulco, but my excursion (I forget the exact name--flavors and shopping?) was cancelled, so I have no idea what I'll be doing. The only other excursions that interested me are beyond my physical capacity, so maybe I'll just stay on board and enjoy the empty ship. Re-entry into real life is going to be painful after this trip!
