| Eastern 12/06/08 Cruise Video Trip Report We were on the 12/06/08 Eastern cruise and had a great time. It was our 3rd DCL cruise. Our first two were a 4 night on the Wonder and a 7 night double dip so we were very excited to see the ports. I have to say the Eastern ports blew away the Western ports in my opinion. I have had lots of trouble with seasickness in the past and have tried everything (ginger, bonine, sea bands, etc.) and nothing really worked well. I gave the prescription patch a try this time around and it worked pretty well. I did not have any of the side effects but it did not work as well as I had hoped. I was really sick when we left St. Thomas for about 18 hours. I got sick during my massage and had to miss it and our Palo dinner. In St. Maarten we went to Orient Beach on our own and had a great time. Orient Beach is probably the most beautiful place I have ever been. I was a little concerned about possible nudity but we just had a few people walk by topless. My kids were so busy playing they didn't even notice. We had some really good wave action and my DH and DS had the time of their lives playing in the water. I really think that may have been the best day my DS has ever had in his life. In St. Thomas we went to the Butterfly Farm and took the tram to Paradise Point. Both things were fun but a little pricey. In Castaway Cay DS and I had planned to do the Stingray excursion but due to the windy conditions all excursions were cancelled. Unfortunately DS was crushed but I was just happy that we were able to dock. It took a long time to get in and I really wondered if we would have to miss CC altogether. I put together a video with pictures and music to share that counts as my trip report. ![]()

| Thanks for sharing! I left on the Wonder the day after you left on the Magic, We didn't get into CC the day we were supposed to, so that became our sea day and we were able to dock the next day. The video is great and I loved your selection of music! |
