| Sunday, January 18 Part Three Thom and Maddie were already in the suite when we arrived and Maddie was wearing her arm band also so I could tell where their exploring had taken them. Okay, this place was just gorgeous. When you opened the door, the first thing that you saw was the bright blue sky through a wall of windows. On the right side of the entry way, there was a side table with gorgeous fresh flowers and to the left there was a half bathroom. ![]() Further down the entry way to the right was the door to the master suite and to the left was a butler’s pantry where all of the life jackets were stored (we stored our luggage here, but I’m really not sure what you would use this area for except for additional clothes storage). ![]() When you finally come in to the living area, you see a dining room to the left and a media room to the right. ![]() Continued in next post . . .

| The living area has a large sofa and two lounge chairs along with a wet bar and the largest tv in the statement. ![]() The dining room has a beautiful table with 8 upholstered chairs and the media room has two lounge chairs, another tv (hence the media) and a Murphy bed that was pulled down each evening. ![]() Although the entire back of the suite is covered with windows, the only doors to the balcony are in the dining room and the media room. All of the “windows” in the living room may have actually been doors, but they were locked by a key and couldn’t be opened. From the media room, you could also reach the master suite where Thom and I stayed on this trip (my mom insisted since she and my dad had the master suite on our last cruise). ![]() Continued in next post . . .

| The bedroom was beautiful, but what really blew my socks off was the bathroom. this bathroom . . . and the full size toiletries didn’t hurt either. ![]() ![]() Also off the bedroom was a hallway which led back to the main entry way. On either side of this hallway were two large closets. Let’s put it this way . . . we could have packed every stitch of clothes that we own and not had problems with storage. ![]() You can see the hallway back to the entryway to the left of the bedroom tv. ![]() Another shot of the bedroom looking into the media room. Pocket doors closed off this entrance as well as the entrance from the living room into the media room, so you could easily turn it into a 3rd bedroom (which we did for the girls). Off of the dining room was the other bedroom. It had twin beds which my mom had hoped could be converted to a full size bed (she likes sleeping with my dad so that she can hit him when he snores ), but she was informed that the desk between the beds was bolted down. We offered them the master suite again, but they were adamant that we have it. Their room was about twice the size of the one that we had on the last cruise and their bathroom also had a Jacuzzi tub, so they were doing pretty well for themselves even without a master suite. Sorry no pictures of this one, but it was a pretty standard stateroom.Continued in next post . . .

| And finally the balcony! Wow! It was listed as a quadruple balcony and it was every bit of that! We did use it a good bit, but you would have to have a party to do it any real justice! ![]() What struck me as most beautiful and eye catching in the suite, however, was the gorgeous blonde wood throughout. It just shimmered in the sunlight. The sleek and modern suite seemed more like a Manhattan penthouse than a cruise ship stateroom, but the pictures of Walt Disney that were spotted around the suite added the perfect amount of Disney magic to the setting.![]() The dining room table already held a gift from the concierge team, a gorgeous tray of fruit which my family immediately ripped into - - as if they hadn’t just eaten lunch! We also had a tote bag from the Castaway Club filled with goodies like water bottles, mesh beach bag, a notebook and pen (which I immediately snagged for my note taking Once we had all checked out every nook and cranny of the suite, there were a few people in our party who wanted a little nappie (hint: none of them were under the age of 40 and two of them are in the picture below). ![]() Since I tank at taking naps, I asked the girls if they wanted to go exploring because no one would have been taking a nap with them in the vicinity (especially since they were already playing "puppy"). ![]() I received an enthusiastic from both girls and we were off. Up next . . . dancing, drills and a dang bloody nose.

| Okay.... I think that the Walt Disney Suite could get me interested in cruising. (And maybe... just maybe that quadruple balcony would be enough to get Karen interested in it too. Love the pictures, Jill. You've done us all proud! Eileen
