| For BF it depends on your mood, perhaps. I suggest that you not pass up having breakfast at Triton's, it's yummy! Mestitch has a report on a rainy Castaway Cay day in her TR...

| Don't worry about rain while you’re at sea too much because the ship will actually use its radar to find clear skies in the direction you are going. We have even sailed while skirting a hurricane the only thing we could tell was by how the ship was listing other than that we didn't get any rain even then. While you’re at port it is another thing; we've got poured on before in port. The funniest thing I saw was when we were at Cast Away Cay. There was no lightening at all but it started to rain steady and everybody in the water jumped out and ran for the ship, because they didn't want to get wet ![]() My family and a few other just looked at each other and kept playing in the water.Brad

Now that would be funny. My kids might get out of the water but if there is no lightning then I wouldn't run either. One question though, if it is raining while on board the ship do they shut down the pools? Since you are wet anyways what is the purpose of that? I can understand shutting them down if there is lightning but just plain rain should be fine right?

| We always ate at the sitdown breakfast (Triton's) when we did the 4-day. We had a good dose of pouring rain when we were in Nassau. Most of the afternoon. We were doing to aquarium at the Atlantis, but that meant that everyone at the Atlantis also headed to the aquarium since they couldn't go to the beach. At least we got free Mickey ponchos out of the deal!! At CC, we had some rain in the afternoon, just after we had gotten back on the ship (about 4 PM)!

| 2 weeks ago when we where in Castaway Cay, it was a glorious 86 degrees and not a cloud in the sky!!! But the water was a little chilly for me. We did breakfast at Topsiders and had plenty to eat and sitting out on the deck every morning in the warm sun was wonderful. It was really nice on the mornings that we were pulling into the ports. for no rain on your trip!!! |
