| Thanks for the tip about the Dine and Play. I would love to hear more about that as I think Belle and Maddy would love to do that as well! Can't wait to hear more!

| When we got to Deck 5 approaching the theater, we were too early for the grand entrances (if you've seen the show.. you know what I mean, if you haven't I don't wanna ruin the fun of that for you!). However, Emily is always one to make her own entrance in life and worked diva style for her mother's camera. ![]() Katie was very surprising here- she became very enchanted with the lifesize Golden Mickey at the entrance. She went over to check it out and then directed Emily to come over.. and said clear as day.. "Mom, take a picture!" I almost burst into tears- and took not just one, a bunch! ![]() Since I was a little misty eyed anyway, I grabbed this photo as well. This man I never knew, but he has greatly affected my life for the better in so many ways. It's just remarkable and I do consider him a genius and frankly, when I think of the words vision or visionary- he always comes to mind. ![]() We were one of the first guests in the theater. See? ![]() I should mention by this point, Emily earlier had made the observations that many of the crew seemed "to be from alot of countries." I explained to her the reasons behind that and how she could learn alot from people from so many parts of the world. I also encouraged her to be friendly, ask questions and call them by name. Well, I should have known that discussion would lead to something good. We had been in our seat for about 3 or 4 minutes, when a bar service crew member approached, asking if we were up for some beverages. Emily looked up at him, smiled and in her lofty yet 8 year old voice.. said "Hello Dan from India!!" Dan and I looked at each other and he burst into laughter. He asked what her name was and where she was from.. " I am Emily, from Florida." His response was "Well, hello Princess Emily from Florida!" Meanwhile, he was trying to keep himself composed. It may very well have been one of those you had to be there moments, but I assure you I was still laughing long after Dan had moved on serving other guests. I enjoyed the first FAB this trip, a lovely Bahama Mama and the girls had Sprites. I can't rave enough about the Golden Mickeys. It is my favorite show of the three on offer on the Wonder- hands down. It's got the perfect combination of comedy, sentimentality and production value. ![]() Katie's favorite movies right now are 101 Dalmatians- both the animated and live action- so when Cruella made her appearance, I swear I heard Kate squeal a bit right next to me. ![]() All three of us enjoyed the Sleeping Beauty performance.. ![]() And the finale also superb- and just quintessentially Disney... ![]() After the show ended, we headed over to Mickey's Mates so we could pick up all our goodies from Lynn, Barb and Bob. Katie must have reached her limit with the crowds in the store because she started to get very upset while we were waiting and I could not figure out what, if any triggered it. The CM's brought out the DCL Mickey and Minnie from Barb and Bob, and the lanyards from Lynn. Both of the girls were tickled with all of it. Thanks guys! One of my favorite areas on the Disney Wonder is the hallway on the side of Triton's down towards the Promenade Lounge. The windows and the view out of the giant portholes are really something- and I always stop to appreciate that view- something I tried to point out to the girls. It was their first chance to really process the motion of the ship across the water.. and I think Emily is going to take after me.. she was totally amazed by it. ![]() Coming Up Next: The pros and perils of late seating dining......

| I absolutely love "Hello Dan from India"! What a love Emily is! And how wonderful that Katie was so enthralled with the Golden Mickey! Mo, I'm thinking that this may just be the first of many girls only cruises in your future. Jill
