Up again before 7 am. We are sleeping well at nite. I have to say that the cabin seems very quiet; don't hear much from the hallways unless someone is talking really loud. Katrina is a bit slow when getting ready but we finally got it together and headed up to Topsider's. My parents were already there and had a table so we went thru the line and joined them. I was perfectly fine with the selection at Topsider's. Usually I don't eat much breakfast - a granola bar or some toast but I did enjoy having a variety of stuff to choose from. DH loved the omelet bar - he wakes up starving and loves breakfast. I tried the muesli this morning and it was very yummy! Victoria enjoyed the fruit. Travis finally came in and ate. We decided to explore and find a trivia game. We did find the game and played once more. We went back to the shops and made a few purchases - DH a shirt and Travis bought his friend a shirt. Katrina decided to return to the cabin with Victoria. DH, Travis and myself changed into swimsuits and headed to Quiet Cove with our books. We stretched out and enjoyed the peacefulness and read for a while. I headed to Goofy's Galley and got us an assortment of sandwiches and then stopped by Pluto's and got some fries! The good thing about Goofy's is that the sandwiches are just a few bites so you can try different ones. We enjoyed our munchies then the boys went back to reading. I headed down to check on Katrina and Victoria because we were planning on doing a tequila tasting at 3:30. Victoria had not really napped but they did have some "down time". We called my parents and the took Victoria up to the Splash Zone. DH, Katrina and I headed to Sessions for some tequila education. The bartender that led the seminar was from Spain and came in dressed in a crazy serape and sombrero. Neither Katrina nor myself really enjoyed the tequila much. I think it reminded both of us of crazy nites in our misspent youth!!!! They also gave us 2 small margaritas - a traditional lime and a mango. THese were very tasty. I thought it was a good deal - for $15 we had 4 larges shots, 2 small margaritas and a very informative presentation that also entertained. We made our way back up to DEck 9 and watched Victoria play in the water for a while. She had an ice cream cone then we all returned to the cabins to get ready for dinner at Animator's Palate. We really only had to get Victoria cleaned up so within a few minutes we headed to the Lobby to see the PRincesses. This was the longest line for the entire week. I stood in line about 15 min while Katrina walked around with Victoria. Princesses in attendance were Snow White, Tiana, Cinderella, and Belle. Victoria didn't seem to care much for Snow and I think it was her voice! It is a little weird especially since most everyone in our family have rather deep voices. We were a little late to dinner but only about 5 minutes. I enjoyed the show in Animator's Palate but it was not my favorite dining room. The room itself seems too closed in. After another delicious meal served by our wonderful waiters, we split up once again. There was not a stage production tonite so Katrina and Victoria turned in for the evening. My parents went to the Walt Disney Theater to watch the Ed Alonzo show. The 3 Cabelleros (me, DH and DS) went to Sessions and enjoyed the piano player for a while. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. We decided to head to Rockin D and checkout the beatboxer show. Holy Smoley! This guy was amazing. I don't know how anyone can make that many noises at the same time. We hungout for a while and Travis even got up and did some dancing. He got a little excited and bumped a table and almost spilled some people's drinks. The just laughed about it because he was having such a good time. About 11 we called it a night.
Today was Grand Cayman day. When we woke up the ship was approaching Grand Cayman and what a beautiful site! After some breakfast we headed to the theater to get tender tickets. After a very few minutes we were boarding the tender and headed to shore. THe water here is really beautiful. We did not have any real plans; just walk around near the port and do a little shopping. Which is exactly what we did. I know the reasoning but it is just strange how many banks there are! We made a few purchases (dress for V, perfume, shirt) and headed back to the port. Stopped at Margariteville and looked around on the way. Andy from Rockin D had recommended a candy store at the port. OMG every kind of candy and all kinds of things resembline candy! Travis was in heaven; he is a candy junkie. After buying almost $30 worth of gummies, chewies and assorted sweets we took the tender back to the ship. It was about 11:15 so everyone else headed up to deck 9 for some munchies and I washed some clothes. This was an easy process because no one else was using the facilities. Four loads later, I spent some quiet time on the verandah. It was very nice. Katrina and Victoria returned to the cabin for naps and I joined DH and Travis at Quiet Cove. We played in the water and visited with some fellow shipmates. We all got ready for Pirate's Night. Victoria was the only one with a costume. We had to go down early because we knew Victoria would get a chance to meet Capt. Hook. We saw Pirate Mickey, Hook & Smee and Chip & Dale then happened upon Minnie walking into the lobby. She took Victoria's hand and they strolled around the lobby admiring the construction of the gingerbread house. They were having a Jake and the Neverland Pirate Party at Studio Sea so we headed up there. All of a sudden Peter Pan just appears at Katrina's side. He had a long conversation with Victoria who didn't really know about Peter! I have to say that Peter was spot on and handled V wonderfully. While heading down the hall, Jack Sparrow walked by telling everyone "nothing to see here". Finally made it to Studio Sea where the CM led the little ones on a treasure hunt for gold doubloons hid around the club. The entire time, music from the TV show was playing so Victoria was having a blast. When it was over we made our way to Parrot Cay. We all got our pirate bandana tied on and enjoyed a tasty meal. After dinner, my parents and DH watched "Lincoln" at the Buena Vista and the rest of us watched "Wreck It Ralph" in 3D at the Walt Disney Theater. Everyone enjoyed their movie then we met back up and headed to the Pirate Party. Poor Victoria feel asleep just a few minutes into the party. She slept thru the party with Katrina holding her then my parents took her back to their cabin for the night. The 3 cabelleros plus Katrina headed to Rockin D. It was kaoroke night and Travis actually sang 2 songs. We all had lots of fun singing along with the performers. Andy (club host) stopped by and chatted and complimented Travis. Finally about midnite, we hit the sack.
Doesn't seem like there is much interest in this so I will finish up.
Got up around 7, today was Costa Maya and we were not overly excited about this port. We played around the pool area for awhile but poor Victoria was really tired today. I think it was just so much excitement over the last few days and it caught up with her. Katrina took her to the cabin a little after 10 and she fell asleep and didn't wake up until almost 1. The ship had docked around noon so we got her ready and walked to the tourist trap...oooops, I mean shopping area. The vendors here was extremely pushy. We did make a couple of purchases - DH a straw hat, Travis a Lucha Libre mask and a little guitar for Victoria. I did buy a hand painted tile from a young man who was painting while you watched. We were back on the ship in about an hour. Katrina and my parents watched Victoria in the splash zone and the 3 Cabelleros headed to Quiet Cove. I have to say that this area is just so enjoyable. Each afternoon there was live music. We all had a snack from the poolside snack bars and just chilled. Went down for dinner around 5 and saw Donald then headed to Lumiere's. Had a great dinner if only because they had creme brulee for dessert!!!! After dinner we stopped at Shutter's and Katrina purchased the photo package that included everything. Went to another dance party, Rocker Goofy, at Studio Sea then watched "Villians Tonight" in the theater. This was a great show! Everyone was bushed so we all turned in.
Day 6 - Cozumel
Planned a day at the beach here so we got up and dressed in suits and packed a beach bag. My parents passed on the beach and just walked around the port. We walked to the back of the shopping center where you come off the pier and asked for a taxi to take us to a family friendly beach and were whisked off to Paradise Beach. The one way ride cost $20. This was a very nice place with a beautiful, large pool, clean bathrooms, outdoor showers, chairs on the beach, a restaurants, 2 bars, kayaks, snorkeling, playthings in the waters, and umbrellas. The waiters were very attentive, It was $2 per person to use the chairs and facilities but you had to pay more for the playthings and other activities. We had a blast and stayed for 2-3 hours then headed back to the ship. Tonite was the Capt.'s Gala so DH and Katrina were excited about eating lobster. After dinner we watched "Dreams" in the theater and again decided to retire for the evening. Victoria was really starting show the effects of so much excitement. She was very restless all nights and woke up before 6.
Day 7
We had the Character Breakfast in Parrot Cay. THis was fun but those characters are really quick! We attended a very interesting talk about Disney Innovations at Disney Parks then did some shopping. Decided to return to the cabin to do the bulk of the packing since this was the last actual day. It was very cool and windy today so we didn't let Victoria play in the water. We enjoyed some time in Quiet Cove and just walked around some. We went to a beer tasting and enjoyed our last dinner with Andrae and Gerry. My parents to Victoria for the night and DH and Travis decided they were turning in also. Katrina and I headed to Sessions to try a drink that had been recommended at the beer tasting. It is called a Dark Shadow and is a mixture of Stella Artois and Port Wine. It was good but not something I would want very often. We then headed to Diversions for a Pub Quiz. After the quiz we were just sitting there chatting. The CM from Columbia walked in and stopped to chat. She told us all about Columbia and how much she loved her country then the CM from the theater that Katrina had befriended stopped by. While talking with him the CM from the Pub Quiz joined in. It was really lots of fun. We ended the night at Rocking D for another game show. She and I turned in around midnite. Around 3am my parents called and said Victoria was not feeling well and wanted her mom. I threw on a robe and went and got her. DH got on the couch and Katrina and Victoria joined me in the bed. It was not pleasant when the wakeup call came at 6am. Had breakfast then sat in the Promenade Lounge waiting to disembark. We were off the boat and at the curb by 9.
Thanks to all that followed....We had a blast and are ready to go again.
So sorry if it seems like no one's been reading! I certainly have been, and am sorry I haven't responded more. I've been at WDW for the past week, so my on-line time has been limited. I've enjoyed reading about your cruise, though, and your little Victoria is adorable!

THanks!! I appreciate your time. I know that this is a very busy time of year. I myself am very guilty of enjoying others reports but not responding. Hope your trip was wonderful. Did you see many interesting animal procedures?
