I'm posting this here, as this forum will have part of my new trip report about our cruise on the Fantasy. The pre-trip report is now underway in the Walt Disney World trip report forum.
I've finally got round to getting some "highlight" photos of the cruise sorted out, as it will be a while before I get to this part of the trip report, as I have nine days at Walt Disney World to get through first.
Boarding the Fantasy The gingerbread house in the lobby With Minnie’s statue in the atrium Poinsettias around the Walt Disney Theatre All decked out for Christmas… The D Lounge La Piazza Ooh La La The Tube Our lovely room A bird’s eye send off as we sail away A beautiful sunset as we sailed away Look who joined us for dinner on our first night The adult pool at night Palo brunch – what an amazing selection! Meeting Captain Mickey on formal night At the Enchanted Garden on formal night The Royal Court The expanded adult pool section What a beautiful sunrise! On the beautiful island of St. John The ruins of the Annaberg sugar plantation Isn’t it beautiful? On one of the island’s beautiful beaches Looking down on one of those beaches Now that’s what I call a big boat…. … nearly as big as this one! Dumbo! Wow, that sky looks threatening over San Juan, Puerto Rico! it’s tipping with rain as we explore Castillo San Cristobal There she is! What a difference a couple of hours can make! What a beautiful view! Look who we found on our Segway tour! Enjoying our Segway tour Castillo San Felipe del Morro Looking out from the Castillo The Castillo as we sailed away Enjoying Remy brunch Two very sauve and charming chipmunks! Debating the merits of British chocolate at Palo! What a beautiful sunrise to wake up to on your 40th birthday! It’s snowing on Castaway Cay! It’s also very windy… … and the sky looks ominous too! It’s five o’clock somewhere! Now that’s what I call a birthday present – the Disney Dream alongside us! Enjoying a birthday dinner at Remy
I have to say I have never been a cruise type person I am very not good on boats ( too many roll on roll of ferry journeys probably) but these photos are really selling it. Looks like you had a fab time

Trust me, I am not a boat person either. A very bad experience on the Hoverspeed Sea Cat (I think that's the one ) - anyway, it was a fast ferry from Dover to Calais in the 1990s, but honestly cruises are very, very different. Maybe give one of the shorter Disney cruises around the Med a go? They're back this summer... and hopefully 2014 too - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will return again.
Looks wonderful! How great that the Dream was in port with you Your stateroom seems brighter than what I remember from the Magic. Looking forward to the rest.( all in good time of course)
wow, wonderful photos, makes me want to plan a cruise! I was on one as a child, when it was just the big red boat. we just love our land trips to disney so much, I have a hard time giving that up to do a cruise wondering if everyone will enjoy it!

A very bad experience on the Hoverspeed Sea Cat (I think that's the one 
) - anyway, it was a fast ferry from Dover to Calais in the 1990s, but honestly cruises are very, very different. Maybe give one of the shorter Disney cruises around the Med a go? They're back this summer... and hopefully 2014 too - I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will return again. 
Your stateroom seems brighter than what I remember from the Magic. Looking forward to the rest.( all in good time of course)
