I thought the 11's, 10's, 9's and 8's were all identical except for location. Am I confused?
Cat. 8 & 9 are outside cabins that are 214 sq. feet and have porthole windows and the split bath.
Cat. 10 is a deluxe inside stateroom and has a split bath.
Cat. 11 & 12 are 184 sq.ft. inside cabins and do not have the split bath.

Great update Jennifer - and I just love those photos of Alexander!

Fascinating about Palo - I hope you're lucky enough to be able to go back there before your cruise ends.

Sounds like you are having a great time. I am really impressed with your room creativity. I will be traveling with a 2 year old in March and will heed your advice. One question? Was the life jacket for the infant already in your stateroom or did you have to request it? Have a great time on the rest of the cruise

Re: Live from the Panama Canal Cruise with Jennifer, Dave, and Alexander

I can't wait to hear if the tv "sunrise" works. We had the kids (adult age and teen age) in inside rooms and they loved sleeping in, but I always had to call over to wake them so they did not sleep the day away.

Didn't I read somewhere that they could store your car seat or stroller for you somewhere on the ship to give you more room in your cabin???

PS. I found out this week that your sister and my sister live one street apart!

Re: Live from the Panama Canal Cruise with Jennifer, Dave, and Alexander

Hello all!

Sorry there was no time to post an update today -- it was a full day with an excursion into Acapulco, and then another foray into port for dinner. Tomorrow is a sea day, so I'll post an update tomorrow. We just took a stroll around deck 10 to admire the city lights of Acapulco -- breathtaking!

Great updates Jennifer!!! I had to crack up at Dave's "Passporter channel" video though . . . "Please pan down, lovely camera woman."

Sounds like you are having a great and mostly relaxing time though!!! Alexander is just TOO cute!!!

Re: Live from the Panama Canal Cruise with Jennifer, Dave, and Alexander

Thanks for the updates Jennifer and Dave...they are great, especially the pictures and of course the Passport Channel video was awesome. My compliments to the lovely camera woman!

So, can you either of you possibly attempt to find out when DCL plans to announce their 2007 itineraries and pricing? I'm DYING here!!!

Thanks,
Lisa

Re: Live from the Panama Canal Cruise with Jennifer, Dave, and Alexander

Zack and I were driving through Los Angeles on our way to Sea World last Saturday, and we just had to drive by to wave goodbye to the Magic before it leaves California. Thanks so much for taking the time to post updates from the ship. I'm loving every word!

Jennifer, thanks for the great updates.. Alexander is getting so much bigger. Your next book will now have to include so many new PORTS thats Disney never took before like Manzanillo and any other ports along the way...
Have a great trip BRINGING home the MAGIC....
