FP for Up! A Great Bird Adventure

I'm looking at FP+ offerings to get an idea of what we'll choose when the time comes to make FPs. Do I really need a FP+ for the new Up show at AK?
We used to walk up to Flights of Wonder with 5 minutes to show time and get a great seat. Last time I think we walked in with 30 seconds to showtime and still got an awesome seat in the upper section.
Anyone know what have the crowds been like since opening last week?
