I have been to WDW many times. We go every year with the children and several years as a couple. I am currently single and we are planning an all woman's trip in October. There may be up to 12 of us coming in over several days from Wednesday through Sunday. We'll be shopping one day and maybe hitting the parks a couple of days. We were thinking of doing one brunch, one lunch, and one dinner as a group. Any other advice would be GREATLY appreciated! We hope to stay at Wilderness Lodge with concierge.
One thing I would recommend is to not plan to do many things as a huge group. Otherwise, you'll find that it takes ages to come to any decisions and you'll spend less time enjoying the trip and more time trying to choose the next activity--this very thing happened with a friend and her buddies a couple months ago.
Instead, I would recommend splitting into two or more sub-groups for much of the time. There might be a natural division based on other things, or you could have, say, the thrill-ride group, the interested-in-shows group, the shoppers, the meet-the-characters group, whatever. If they all have a common interest in the types of activities they'll do, more people will be happy.
This would definitely complicate making FastPass+s, though.
Why not see about a specialty fireworks cruise or lunch cruise on one of the nice boats/yachts they have. It would be something very different and splitting it between 10+ people wouldn't be too outrageous.
I'm living the dream 20 minutes from Disney! Next trip...tomorrow.
