I have never participated in this myself, but I know a lot of "Passporters" have, so it may come as something of a shock that I read today on a reputable website (Theme Park Tourist) that the Night of Joy events have been cancelled for the foreseeable future.
I thought I'd share the news, just in case anyone on here was planning to go.

To be honest, I'm surprised it's taken this long. I went to NoJ a couple times in the mid-90s as a teen and they remain my worst experiences at WDW (not because of the entertainment, but because of the behavior of the masses of kids there). Sad, but true.

I never went or had any interest in going as I'm not christian or religous. If it had been a musical celebration of the season, as many religions have a holiday at sometime during the November through January time period, that included a variety of religions and secular songs I probably would have been interested enough to go at least once.
