Two additional MK restaurants to serve alcohol

Disney Food Blog reported yesterday that The Plaza and Crystal Palace will now be serving alcohol. Very interesting!
http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2018/0...magic-kingdom/

And to show you how clueless I was...I didn't realize that Tony's, Liberty Tree Tavern, Cinderella's Royal Table and Skipper's Canteen had started serving alcohol in 2016!

Apparently I'm just as clueless. I knew when Skipper Canteen opened they were going to offer alcohol but I didn't know the others were doing so.

I don't necessarily agree with all the MK restaurants offering alcohol but I suppose if it's not been a problem with the other ones, then Disney must be doing well with not over serving people there (unlike in the other parks IMO). It will probably help to "spread out" the reservations too for those who merely want to be able to have a drink with dinner as they now have multiple choices instead of a small handful.

With the dining plan now offering an alcoholic or specialty beverage with your meal, it makes sense that they are now available at MK restaurants.

You're right - I had forgotten Disney added those to the dining plan. It's been so long since I've gotten one (financially it makes better sense for us to pay OOP) that I don't look into them and don't really pay attention to what is or isn't included.

We haven't done the dining plan for years either, but I did run the numbers this time just to see. It sure adds up when you include an alcoholic beverage with every meal. But we still are better off paying OOP.
