Beds at Pop vs All Stars

Donít think Iím crazy! Just weighing my options between All Stars and Pop, and I remember the mattress at AS Music being on the ďfirmerĒ side. Iíve got some hip issues and sleeping on my side can get a bit painful on a firm mattress. Is there any real difference in the mattress from one resort to another? Just cuz I get real crabby if I donít sleep well, lol

Pop’s beds have almost all been converted to queens, one regular, one pull down that converts to a table and chairs during non-sleeping hours. Those mattresses will now be new and different from the All-Stars. ASMovies has begun converting to the same configuration, although they are in the early stages.

Sorry, I don’t know how the new mattresses feel.

I don't know exactly what they could do but if you feel the mattress is too firm, you could always call down to housekeeping and talk to them about it. They might be able to help you.

We had the opposite problem a few years ago - the mattress was so broken down I felt like I was going all the way to the floor and with back and hip problems, my hubby would never be able to get good sleep let alone get out of the bed. Housekeeping did come in with a bed board and when it was evident it wasn't going to do anything, he made sure the mattress was replaced. We got a brand new firm one just like we sleep on here at home and I don't think we've ever slept better on vacation.

I hear they also can offer mattress toppers sometimes. I've not experienced this, but I recall seeing a report somewhere that someone got on at a resort at WDW.
