No voting here for obvious reasons! However, I just wanted to say how encouraging it was to see posts from everyone on Facebook to say they were voting and how long the waits were - always a good sign that people are turning out to exercise their democratic right.
When we do vote, I have no waits, as I've had a postal vote for about 20 years now, which makes things so much simpler!
I went with my son (who ran for a position on the school committee, so I was standing by the door taking pictures) when the polls opened at 7am and he had a least 10 people in front of him. We were visiting 10 polling locations in our district throughout the day and there was a steady stream of people...even when it started raining at a pretty heavy clip around 12:30pm. I voted last night around 7pm and walked right in. It was a very proud moment to be casting a vote for Kyle, who swept his opponent at all 10 locations!
