I flew once on First Class and the kids were with me at the time. We were flying home from Disney and got upgraded. It was sooo NICE! Lots of room and the kids got a meal, which was very good....treated a bit better. There were only 2 seats per section.

Would do that again...but for Free only.

yes, we have been lucky enough to have been upgraded, or used miles. We have also paid for it, but only if the price is good and its a long flight. We've been upgraded from here to Florida due to Dave's travel status, but its' not worth the extra money to pay for it.

Depending on the plane and length of the flight we will usually fly business class. If its a small plane it really doesn't matter much so we don't pay the extra. We are considering a trip to Hawaii in 2019 or 20 and would fly some of the flight in first class. I don't think I can sit for 14 hours with my chin resting on my knees. We typically buy the cheapest ticket and then upgrade certain legs of the flight.

Yes. We fly business or first class any time the flight is over 4-5 hours and we're traveling with DD Samantha. She can't sit in a coach seat for much longer than the 4 hours. What I love about it - the space, the overhead space, the food is better.....well, everything!

When we flew home from Germany this summer, we were able to purchase business class seats at very little extra cost. Loved the little gift bags we received, and DH really enjoyed the extra leg room.

With the flights taking 13+ hours to get to the USA from Australia, we often fly business class. As often as we can, we use airline miles but sometimes we just have to pay! We appreciate the lay flat beds and privacy of the suites - not the damage to our bank balance.
My DH and I have flown first class long haul from USA to Japan and Hong Kong but just the once!
