Artist Point - character dinner confirmed

These rumours have been circulating forever, but I've just had a chance to catch up with this week's All Ears newsletter and it's finally been confirmed that Artist Point will have a character dinner... with Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy (DH is very happy at that!) and the Evil Queen. I think this will be on the "must do" list the next time we go to Disney....

We're adding this to our "to do" list. We already enjoy Whispering Canyon so Artist Point is next!

I'm staying at WL for Christmas, and hoping bookings become open for my stay. I would love to be among the first to try this out. I am super excited about meeting any Dwarfs, as they are so elusive, and I've yet to meet Snow either.

I have to say I am not excited about this. We love Artist Point and eat there on most trips. I have no problem with their adding a character meal at WL, but wish it would have been a breakfast or lunch meal - or at WCC. Now there are no relaxing TS restaurants at WL and it will be the only Deluxe resort without an adult Signature Restaurant. I really hope they don't start getting rid of other signature restaurants.

I was wondering the same thing. We've only eaten there once, but we did enjoy it. Would they really have a character dinner 7 nights a week do away with the typical Artist Point experience completely?
