Anyone else receive the newest email from Photobucket (May 17, 2018) labeled "Your photos have been set free"?
I just received an email from Photobucket (I can't copy and paste or put it in here). It tells me they have a new management team, they've taken feedback and made changes, etc. You can now go ad free for $1.99 a month or $19.99 a year. They still have free accounts for those that don't need 3rd party hosting and supposedly my photos "have been set free" (I need to check on that). Another thing they are supposedly doing is cutting back on the amount of ads. I hope all of this is true but for me, it may be a little too late. I had already decided how to do my photos for my TR this year and I think I'm going to stick with it because it's far, far less work than Photobucket. My photos won't actually be IN the TR but I am going to put a link so you can see them.
It took them long enough though as it's been almost a year. I wonder how many people will go back.
