Concern Shout-Out To Carolinians

As horrid as the news has been about both Carolinas, please check in when possible to let us all know how you’re faring.

Such lovely states, both of them. It’s saddening to think of the flood and wind damage to property and livelihoods.

Even if you’ve been fortunate enough to have no damage or power outage, so many roads are flooded that it sounds like possibly too long before life can feel normal again.

to all in North and South Carolina

My heart is breaking for all concerned. As a North Carolinian by birth, I'm so saddened to see the devastation and personal tragedies.

The fact it isn't over yet is so distressing for all involved.

Thinking of those who have been affected by Florence. Hurricanes are no joke. I found that out last year.

Sorry to not check in sooner.

We had an uneventful weekend until yesterday morning when the remnants of the storm dropped a heck of lot of water on us in the early morning hours. Lots of flooding around town. I had to drive through a bit of it as it was rising to get to work. We got a total of more than 14 inches from Thurs-Mon. We are 125 miles from Wilmington.
