Sayonara savings. Hello Change.

So, I posted that by changing my dates I had saved myself $249.94. Well, earlier today (Thursday September 20, 2018) I wiped out those savings and added $44.49 to my bill by switching from ASMu to Pop. My only reason for the switch is that I suddenly got hit by the desire to stay at Pop again. This is a bit frightening as I have more than a year to go before my trip. If I've already changed my dates and resort what else am going to change between now and then?

Uh-oh. You’ve got the Tara O’Hara Resort Switch virus, I suspect.

That’s a very serious illness that typically results in changing resorts 3-4 times. No known cure other than departing for Disney.

Put on some Disney music or a video and lie down for a couple hours until the fever eases up. Otherwise, you could end up spending lots more money before you even arrive!

Excellent advice. Maybe I should ban myself from using the DW website or calling. ... Nah. That's too extreme. I'll just suffer and hope I don't end up doing too much damage financially.

Oh, this is priceless! I, too, immediately thought of Tara when I read the post. Just be careful and try to stay away from the websites!!

The DW website is hazardous to my Disney loving trip planning soul. I now not only have my Pop reservation for 10/28 - 11/13/19 but I also have one for ASSp for 10/28 - 11/15/19. I'm blaming this on the website and the fact that for $32 less than Pop I could stay at ASSp for an additional two nights. The result is that at the moment I don't know which way I want to go.

Yup, it’s Tara-virus for sure.

Should I mention dining? I know you said you were just going to wing it...but you never know what your Disney Heart will want to do...since you have a whole year to plan......

Don't beat yourself up.... though I haven't changed my mind about where I am staying next May 2019, I have started thinking of changing the dates! Dining will come in November....

*Sigh* Now that you've mentioned it. Dining, may end up more planned than I originally intended. I know I'll end up at Yak & Yeti and Rainforest Cafe. I'll probably end up with at least a couple of adr's one on each of the party nights. I might do a breakfast at Boma as I've wanted to try Boma's breakfast for years. And, so much for winging the dining.

I totally get the date changing I've done it many times for this trip.

We all know what this is and what the symptoms are! As Dot says there is no known cure for it and the treatment for it varies and the symptoms can ware off once you're in Disney but no guarantee as you may make changes there as well! It can be quite contagious!

Hopefully, I don't infect too many of my fellow Passporters. Although, there is some truth to that old saying that misery loves company. However, I can't honestly say that I'm miserable. So, I'm not sure where that leaves me or the saying.

No worries.

I suspect most of us have it already, although I maintain that Tara is the Typhoid Mary for Resort Switch Virus.

I certainly don’t know of anyone else who has it worse than she does, hence naming the ailment in her honor (if you can call that an honor ).

In our little corner of Disney obsessed web? I'd say it's an honor. We're not a real logical bunch though. As I don't know of anyone that would call being obsessed with a mouse logical or even rational.
