Love it! We love Chef du France, but for some reason when I'm thinking of where we might like to eat, it doesn't 'pop'.

Are you packed?

My husband isn't into Dashing as much as I am. We did take a walk the other day and he was able to keep up with me so my hopes are high that we can do this!!

Thanks! I'm now worried that the weather won't be as nice as I was wishing for. There's supposed to be a cool down to the low 80's

I wanted to buy a new backpack type bag for this trip since my favorite Vera Bradley backpack has seen better days. I saw a cute quilted small backpack on Amazon and ordered it in mid Sept. That never came and had to get a refund. My co-worker convinced me I should get a waist pack(aka fanny pack, but she said they're popular these days). I was supposed to arrive yesterday but when I checked the status, it said it would arrive on Monday. That wouldn't work Yesterday I saw another cute Vera Bradley backpack, so I ordered it, paying an extra $3 to get it here by Friday. I just looked and it actually has been shipped so I should be good to go.

2 days to go!!!

Oct 26th AK late start

Today will be a late start. Depending on how we feel and the weather we might head to the water park today. I did ask Pat if he wanted to go to the water park our first day, but he said no.

We have a 7:55 ADR at Kona Cafe for breakfast.

Our first FP+ at AK isn't until 3pm so if we don't go to the water park, we'll certainly take our time getting to AK. But as I'm typing this out my mind is starting to think more about this day. Maybe I should cancel the breakfast and make a lunch ADR at Yak and Yeti, getting to the AK earlier so we have more time to just explore. Either way, our FP+s for today are:

EE FP+(3:05-4:05)
FOP FP+(4:05-5:05)
Safari FP+(5:05-6:05)

For dinner, tonight we have will go to Tiffins. Our ADR time is 5:55 so a bit back and forth through the park. I'm really looking forward to trying this restaurant since the reviews are so good.

Again, as I was typing I changed 2 of my FP+s

AK looks like a win! Though it is apparently very hot still, so a water park might be a good idea!

Tiffins is soooo good! We enjoyed our meal there and wouldn't hesitate to go again!

Some nice plans for your mostly AK day! Hope your bag arrives on time and sounds like it should. I hope you enjoy Tiffin's as I've enjoyed my two dinners there!
You probably know this but don't go to a water park the day after a rainy day as it will be packed and they tend to shut down on rainy days! I found that out on my first visit ever to one of these back around 2002-3.

I'm so afraid it's going to feel cool as the temps are supposed to drop to the low 80s

We're not really adventurous eaters but Tiffins does look good!

1 day to go!!!

My backpack came by UPS today, so I'm all good to go. I've started to clean the house up a bit and will finish tomorrow morning. I also need to go food shopping for Claire who will be home watching the dog and cats.

10/27 Magic Kingdom and last day

Today is our last day, but we have a late flight out @ 8:05 pm. We'll probably have to take the tragical express at 5PM. But that means we have a full day at Disney.

In the morning before going to MK, we will take our luggage and check it in with the resort airline check-in. Then we'll get the monorail and head to MK for the last time.

Our plans for today are:
9:00-9:30 Space Mountain
Carousel of Progress
9:40 AM 7DMT FP+ (9:40-10:40)
Pirates
Jungle Cruise
11:50 AM BTMRR FP+ (10:50-11:50)
12:00 PM Splash Mt FP+(11:50-12:50)
12:20 PM Skippers Canteen
Festival of Fantasy parade
