Have you gotten the final proposal yet? You've left us in suspense.

I'm so sorry! I know I've already posted about my trial by fire, but the final proposal: I make $1 a YEAR above my (old) base pay. Yeah, I know. And it's not actually more. I'm taking a pay cut. Right now, until I fully transition, I'm hourly. with all the overtime I work, my pay is quite often largely from OT. The new position is salaried. HOWEVER - I can essentially come and go as I please, as long as my work is done - and most importantly - no OT, NO MORE evenings, weekends, and holidays!!!! I can guarantee my family I will celebrate every holiday with them. DH is very supportive of this, and while I've only been doing it for 4 days, and am still working in the original position, he says he can tell I'm much less stressed and happier. Hope it all works out!

Thanks for the update Teresa. I agree sometimes the pay may not be more but you get "other" benefits from changes. No OT and being home with family is huge if you ask me. Less stress is always welcome too. Congrats again on the new position.
