So close, yet so far... we set off on the four night on the Wonder the day before.
Darn! It would have been wonderful to meet you. Enjoy the new decor! We've done the Magic and the Wonder, and loved them. The newer, HUGE ships concern me. I really liked getting to know some of our fellow ship-mates on the smaller ships.
DD Lauren is excited that there's a young adult club for her age group - too old for teen group, too young for the bars.
We took a 3-night cruise on the Dream last weekend, after doing our last 3 cruises on the Magic. There were certainly more people on the Dream, but it was still easy to meet people at dinner, in lounges, and at events.
My main issue was that the layout was in many ways similar to but in some ways different from the Magic (for example, the adult clubs are aft rather than fiorward), so I kept turning in the wrong direction. Also, the ship is longer so it takes more time to go between fore and aft.
In general, though, we enjoyed the cruise just a much as our Magic cruises, except that 3 days was much too short. (We knew that, but didn't want our daughter to miss more than a day of school, so we found a long weekend when she'd miss only 1/2 day.) A 4-night should be better -- the sea day will give you more time to explore the ship, and more activities.
