Today's our first day of crappy wintry weather. Freezing rain right now turning to mix later. School's are on a 2-hour delay but I still have to head out in a few minutes to watch the granddaughters. This is the first year that I'm carting kids to school and back too and all on rural roads so I'm not too happy about that either. They go to the Catholic school but the public school provides the transportation only it won't come to their house cause there's nowhere to turn around on the road and they say it's too far out of the way to drive around. One goes only in the morning, one only the afternoon and the oldest goes all day. I can feel some more grey hairs coming!
UPDATE: Well I walked in their door and 7 year old Sophia ran up to me and said "They cancelled school!" On a good note, I don't have to drive them to school today. Bad note, I have all 3 of them until 5:30. Ugh!

We had ice and sleet yesterday, starting about 5 pm and continuing off and on through the morning drive today. I had to work. I scraped a quarter inch of ice of my car. The largest school system in Indiana closed.
