I feel sorry for this Holiday...because it is just one day and leading up to it is about the cooking and getting together with family & friends. Who is coming? What are we having with the turkey? Ham? What time do we need to be there? And of course after it is Black Friday...shopping and getting the best deals at the crack of dawn....Christmas has been looming ahead even before Thanksgiving. There are even 2 radio stations here playing Christmas music already....
So with all that said.....
Happy Thanksgiving! What are you most Thankful for?
- I am Thankful for being employed before my unemployment ran out. I am Thankful for my health and that my kids are doing really well.

I'm most thankful this year for being able to walk properly, having been in so much pain with my ankle at the start of the year and struggling to do much in the weeks leading up to my operation. Now, I'm walking an average of 12 - 13,000 steps a day, losing weight and feeling much more healthy. I couldn't have imagined what a difference an op would make.
I am thankful for family and friends. I am also thankful that 2 years ago I met a wonderful doctor who I truly believe saved my leg. I may not be able to walk a long distance but I can walk and I will always be thankful for that.
I’m thankful everyday for my kids and living (and slaying) the hand I’ve been dealt but yesterday (Thanksgiving) I was most thankful to be in South Florida where it was 81 degrees and not Long Island where it was 19
