Question Planning a Galactic Waterpark Adventure!

Hello! I am excited that we are once again planning a trip to Orlando! This time, our Disney "Princess" will be 10 and has been seduced by the dark side. (SheLovesAriel no more )

We will travel April 6-13, 2019. At this time, I think the first three days will be at Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay.

Then, we are thinking we will move over to Disney and definitely plan a full Star Wars event day at Hollywood Studios - anyone with opinions on the guided VIP tour? I am hoping to hit Disney Springs as well.

The remaining question is whether to spend a day each at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach or just choose one water park and another Disney park. Our last trip in 2014 we did Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Epcot.

Anybody have any experience or reviews of the water parks during mid-April and possibly also compared to Volcano Bay? Is there too much redundancy? Which water park outshines the others?

Thank you in advance for you input!

We've done the Star Wars VIP tour and enjoyed it very much! Jedi Training is included!
For a 10 year old, I would suggest Blizzard Beach. Ski Patrol area is fantastic. Our boy loved it at that age. Now, he's too old and too big for the zip line.
Have a great trip!
